Alan was a pleasure to work with. He contacted us well before the event to ask our requirements. He was patient and accommodating with any last minute requests we made.

On the day of the event Alan arrived in very good time and was pleasant and professional throughout. He was beautifully presented in traditional Scottish dress. Alan's playing was excellent and brought a tear of joy to my 90 year old mother's eye. It was a pleasure to hear him play and to have him join us on our special day.

Alan played for us at our Burns night celebration which was in every respect the icing on the cake. The messages of appreciation and thanks from our members and guests are flooding in. I would thoroughly recommend this performer.

We thought your playing on Friday, despite the drizzly weather, at our Mum’s interment was excellent and just right for the occasion. Your warm up in the car park while everyone was gathering was an added bonus, it brought a smile to our faces as people arrived and everyone thought it very appropriate. Then leading us to the graveside and the music played throughout was so good it lifted the occasion to another level. Virtually everyone commented on you and what the pipes brought to the occasion, nothing was too much trouble from preparing and selecting the tunes ahead of time and on the day itself you made a difference, the day will be remembered by everyone who was there.Thank you.

A huge thank you to Alan for making an emotional day bright and happy with the beautiful Irish music he played before the funeral took place following the side of the hurse and after the funeral took place too, I know my father Jim would have been very proud of Alan playing so gloriously... this has myself proud also. And from this I have encountered a very talented musician and I strongly recommend Alan for any funeral, The Chaplain at my dad's funeral was so very impressed also and so we're the funeral directors. This indeed relieves any sadness into happiness and a sense of pride.

Alan was a wonderful surprise for my father-in-law's 70th birthday. A hugely talented musician, and a very relaxed and friendly man. He was also great with my nephews - who had all sorts of strange song requests for him, including Star Wars! Smart and efficient booking service - everything went exactly to plan. Thank you Alan for helping to create a very memorable day for everyone!

Alan was great! We are so glad we found him through Last Minute Musicians. He was friendly, prompt and professional. Our evening was running a little late but he said after the agreed time to play his final piece. The correspondence and organisation of the booking was very well managed by your company. It was very easy and clear. We will definitely use you again at the next opportunity.
