We booked Andy for a 60th birthday party. Andy has a great voice and we really liked his playing. He provided his own speaker which worked really well to provide a good volume in the venue. He sorted all the public liability and PAT documentation directly with the venue and setting up arrangements so we did not need to worry about that. Andy was really helpful on how to manage the music on the evening , timings etc. We were very happy with the songs and were able to have a good mix of choices. Would recommend Andy without hesitation if you are looking for a solo singer and guitarist.

Andy sang at my daughter’s engagement party on 20/07/24 and totally blew everyone away with both his vocals (and musical talent ☺️ ) and song choices!

We had Andy at my 60th birthday party, he was a joy to deal with from the very start. Great communication and very professional. On the evening he 'wowed' all our guests, fantastic voice, perfect choice of songs and such a nice guy .

Andy wowed the guests at my wife’s 60th birthday party. Everyone enjoyed his music and choice of songs. Second half everyone was dancing and having a good time. He even had time to sing happy birthday to my wife and did an extra song. A great musician would recommend him to anyone who needs an artist for a party.

Andy sang at our wedding - before and during the ceremony, at the drinks reception following and then during the wedding breakfast. He also arranged the music during his breaks. We cannot recommend Andy highly enough - his voice is fantastic and lots of guests commented on how good he was. He alternated between guitar and keyboard, with a great range of songs.

Andy fitted into the day perfectly, with the music being noticeable but not overpowering, he sang Can't Help Falling in Love as I walked down the aisle and it was beautiful.

Communication before, during and after was great, Andy was extremely easy to deal with.

We were a little apprehensive choosing a singer on line, so went to see Andy beforehand at a venue in Harrogate, where again he provided a great performance.

Andy absolutely deserves a 10/10 rating - we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.

Andy was AMAZING from start to finish! We had a special request as a first dance sing and Andy learnt the song and sent us a recording of it before the big day!! Thank you so so much! You made our wedding so perfect!

We decided to book Andy at the last minute to play at our drinks reception and what a fantastic decision that was.
From the point of booking Andy was brilliant and communicated with us really well.

Andy was just amazing, we have had such positive feedback from our guests who had the pleasure of listening to him play and our only regret is that we didn’t get to hear more of him.

Andy is extremely talented and wowed us with his set. He sounds even better live than in the preview, no exaggeration. He was able to accommodate our requirements at incredibly short notice after our original singer fell ill. Andy personalised his set to add our favourites, so our guests were none the wiser! Highly recommend him, so organised and professional- even came early to set up. Thank you again Andy for saving our day !

Andy came to play at my daughters wedding at Bedern Hall in York. He was prompt in dealing with all my correspondence and delivered a first class performance. He was very professional to deal with and arrived promptly.
He played a variety of tracks and has a lovely tone and voice.
I Would definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a vocalist and guitarist.

I was looking for an acoustic signer who would fit into our small black tie dinning party for a special Birthday celebration. I knew the venue was going to be small and we were only having 16 guests. So I didn’t want anyone too powerful that they drown out the table conservation so the selection was important.
When I found LastMinuteMusicians and then found Andy and listened to his sample tracks, I was blown away. Andy was just what I was looking for both in terms of sound and budget.
Andy did not disappoint as his sample tracks and related recordings that I heard online were exactly like this amazing singer in person. His voice and tones are superb, and not only does he cover many tracks, but his own music writing and songs are chillingly good. My own personal favourite is now Sky on Fire. This is a strong powerful beautifully romantic acoustic singer, with a great sense of humour and professionalism.

I am looking for a reason to have him sing with us again. An amazing evening and a great performance.

We booked Andy for our Silver Wedding Anniversary party, of around 50 people in attendance.

From the moment of enquiring, Andy was able to answer any questions I had and communication via email, was always responded to quickly.

On our party night, Andy was prompt and we agreed to four sets of 30 mins each. The music was fantastic and a good combination of old and new. Andy has a true talent, and our guests loved his performances as well as having the opportunity to chat with Andy in between sets.

Andy also provided background music in between sets, so guests could have a good dance. Again, this was a perfect combination of artists to suit our taste, which we discussed prior to the evening.

As a gift to my husband, I also purchased a personalised song from Andy, alongside the framed lyrics. Whilst I have yet to give this to my husband, I can honestly say the song made me cry the first time I listened to it. Andy was able to take the past 25 years of our married life (which I had emailed an overview of), and he transposed this into a song beautifully, which simply speaks from the heart. It is such a perfect touch to our silver wedding celebration, and will be treasured.

I highly recommend Andy as a musician and songwriter. Andy has an amazing talent which should be shown off. All of our guests commented how fantastic he is and I am currently spreading the word to follow Andy on Spotify!

From booking Andy he kept in touch and discussed songs we would like him to play from his extensive list , he was on time and very professional, we all sang to every song with him and he is a great musician with a great voice, if your looking for a good night book him

Andy was great from initial contact to the day, he arrived with plenty of time and setup and created a beautiful ambiance to what would be our special day with 2 x 45 minute sets of which entailed of great songs.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to see much of the sets due to getting the wedding pictures (joys of being the groom) but everyone has commented on how fantastic Andy was and how great it was to have him at the reception drinks.

Personally I don’t think the hotel placed him in the right place for everyone to fully appreciate his work as people where scattered all over the hotel which is a shame but no reflection on Andy as he was brilliant!

I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again - Great guy, hopefully I’ll have the pleasure of seeing him live in the future!

By chance I saw how Andy was offering personalised songs so I thought I would chance it for a Christmas present for my partner, to have him a song made off our son. I didn’t really know what to expect but Andy was really helpful and we worked together to make sure he had enough information about us to be able go away and write it. I was absolutely blown away when I heard the song for the first time, it was absolutely brilliant- and my partner had the same reaction. It’s such a special thing we will keep forever and it comes in a lovely keep sake box. I would recommend anyway do this as it’s such a lovely idea and Andy is very talented:

Lovely genuine guy. Natural performer with a lovely tone and a bit of edge to his voice. Played for longer than contracted for - only stopped when first guests started going home. Would definitely book for another occasion in future.

Andy Doonan - what an amazing acoustic singer . Wonderful voice and such a lovely guy who people just love instantly when he performs . He was great to communicate to prior to the wedding to discuss timings and his set list was perfect for our welcome drinks and background singing during our wedding breakfast! He has an amazing voice and really set the atmosphere off perfect and got our day off to a fab start ! All our guests loved him and he couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy on the day ! He even ran around trying to get the hotel to play my iPhone playlist after he had finished which he so didn’t need to do! We loved him!
