We had Annelise booked for 2 hrs for our evening wedding reception!
It's been nothing but pleasure dealing with Annelise leading up to the wedding and on the day as well. She has a wide spectrum of songs to choose from that can suit any taste. She has got that beautiful powerful gift of a voice and charisma that got everyone up on the dancefloor from the moment she started singing. And she also sang our favourite song for our the first dance which made our day extra special and memorable. Her recorded videos on the website don't do her justice, she is much better live.

Annelise is fabulous. Booked for my daughter as a surprise at her wedding reception she has been an absolute delight. From our first contact to performance nothing has been too much trouble. Always quick to respond to communication, the liaison with our DJ to maintain the surprise, learning new songs on request and giving a truly wonderful, personal performance, we couldn't be more delighted. I found Annelise at very short notice for my sister in laws 40th birthday party. We had a surprise afternoon tea in the garden and wanted some live music. I liked the sound of Annelise’s voice but was totally blown away by hearing her live. She was just amazing and managed to get my whole family up dancing (ages 6-83!). She was very professional and provided me with everything I needed before hand and arrived on time. She had a wide range of songs which suited us and our family. Highly recommend her for her beautiful voice and professionalism. Thank you Annelise.

I got in touch with Annelise to book her for a last-minute vintage themed gathering for the university literary society. She was a lovely warm presence and really made the event by singing a selection of jazz classics and pop songs in a swing style. I particularly enjoyed her rendition of Mr Brightside! Annelise brought her own equipment and all replies to emails were fast and detailed. She really set the perfect atmosphere so that everyone was up and dancing by the end of the night. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her and I hope I will do again!

Annelise's professional manner assured me from our first introduction and I knew I had chosen the right singer for my event. It is rare to find someone so professional. Annelise since the first contact I made has been so thoughtful and kindly explained each step of the process. She gently guided us in the process, let us shortlist our favourite songs while she was taking care of logistics at the venue. On the Big Day, she arrived on time, her presence was really elegant. For 3 hours we have been her priority, when we needed the flexibility to move the dancing to the first floor she quickly moved her equipment. She has been able to create an amazing atmosphere, I do have incredible memories from the first dance to the last family dance with all our children hugging each other sharing this special time. I would definitely invite her to other big occasions in our life.

We wanted to make sure our guests could enjoy sophisticated background music at our wedding meal and Annelise provided exactly that. We will always remember her fantastic singing, particularly for our first dance, which made it extra special for us both.

We didnt really know much about Post Modern Jukebox before we heard Annelise but now we are hooked! Hearing our favourite songs from the 90's and 00's in a Swing style was amazing and fit the mood of our party perfectly! Laura can't stop playing Careless Whisper now! Professional from the moment I contacted her, Annelise has been amazing throughout my booking. She replied instantly to any queries/questions I had and nothing was too much bother for her. She sent across play lists prior to performance and said I could alter anything if I wanted. She was very flexible with timings. Her voice was just wonderful during live performances. If you want to add a touch of class with talent I can highly recommend The Jazz Woman - Annelise. My husband and I hired her to sing at our 60th birthday garden party and she was just what we hoped for. Annelise has a great voice for all those classic swing/jazz numbers , a good repertoire of songs, a warm, friendly personality and looked great.
