Exactly what we wanted for our wedding! Excellent musicians throughout and great, clear direction/calling to help those of us that were complete beginners and those that were from Germany with limited English! Genuinely impressed with the pace they managed to keep until the very end... Both the band as well as the guests! Very professional and provided great communication from the moment we booked. Would not hesitate to book them again!

These guys played the ceilidh at our wedding reception and they totally nailed it. It was a great night, with great fun had by all. Their caller was clear, and their musicians were top-notch. They were also really kind and facilitated the fact that we were running behind schedule, even to the point of staying 15 minutes later than booked for. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Ardverikie Ceilidh Band played for our 40th birthday (70 adults + 20 kids). They were brilliant. The caller gave clear instructions and plenty of encouragement and was undaunted by the chaos of a squad of kids. The fiddle playing and guitar were excellent, and the musicians had the judgement to know when to give the crowd a rest and mix in instrumental sets and songs. In short, they put on a great Ceilidh, are absolute professionals and their version of the song “the Queen of Argyle” made my night.

Thank you so much for bringing our evening to life, you both sensed the mood and style of music perfectly throughout and everyone commented on the quality of performance!

LMM organised the setting up of the event in a very efficient friendly and helpful manner. Even when our original act pulled out unexpectedly Sarah-Jane bent over backwards to ensure we got a similar act at a similar price, all at relatively short notice We were delighted with tremendous set which Martin and Anna of the Ardvierikie Ceilidh Band performed for us all on our son’s wedding night; it exceeded all of our expectations! Right from the word go, their professionalism and enthusiasm shone through, with both demonstrating superb musicianship combined with the excellent calling skills of Anna who got everyone up on their feet for the whole night! It gave all of us all an amazing evening to remember all our lives and greatly contributed to the success of the wedding as a whole.

We had such good feedback about your performance! Everyone that came had a great time and that's definitely down to the superb music and also the very well-explained and inclusive calling. I honestly would not have believed that the majority of people dancing were new to ceilidh dancing from watching them, they all took to it really fast.
