What a piper, George was amazing very smartly dressed his playing of Flower of Scotland absolutely spot incompletely in tune, he gave my Mum a great send off. I can highly recommend him thank you George.

George came to play at my Wee Scottish Granny's funeral, it was so, so much more than we could have ever imagined it to have been. Gran was the centre of our world and we wanted her funeral to be everything that she deserved, it was just that and more! George was beyond incredible, he piped the hearse up to the crematorium and then piped her into the crematorium, he then stood at the front whilst we all walked in, performed half way through and at the end of the service. Her elderly brother who couldn't make the funeral was able to watch online and said he had never seen anything like it. He turned a really sad occasion into a really beautiful one instead. He was so professional, lovely and graceful. I just couldn't recommend him more. Thankyou so much George!

I booked George to Pipe at my Aunt's funeral and he was absolutely briliant. His Piping was wonderful and also faultless. It really brought so much to the occasion. Everyone was really pleased he was there, that it made the whole afternoon easier and said they couldn't imagine anyone could have been better. It was a pleasure to meet him and he had a lovely prescence that was supportive and professional but very friendly and relaxed. It didnt feel like there was a stranger there at all. His timing was perfect, always in the right place at the right time so everything went smoothly. I highly recommend him. He was very accommodating with arrangements and communications were good. He was punctual and well prepared and looked very smart. Our Funeral Director took his details as he said he was the best Piper they had come across.

In case it is relevant to anyone - I would add we were hesitant at first about whether a piper might be over the top for a small funeral with 7 people but we went ahead as it was about representing her homeland at a service here. If you had similar concerns I would reassure you that it actually made it more special and gave a framework to the day. It really brought more meaning to the event with a real sense of occasion and the numbers didnt matter at all. No awkardness, especially as George was so relaxed and friendly. So if you are not sure .. Go for it. especially with George.

Not relating to George but relevant....The comms on the website are not so fab and chase up replies for the pipers managed by the site and get off their system and on to direct comms with your piper asap.

We decided to honour our mums heritage with a piper playing at her funeral.Mums was from the Isle of Islay and the particular piece we wanted played is a memory from her homeland . Unfortunately George hadn’t played ‘Westering Home ‘before but this remarkable musician said he could learn it before the funeral.George was absolutely amazing .He played it perfectly along with Amazing Grace and Flower of Scotland .Our undertaker said he’d been attending funerals for over 25 years and had never heard a piper like George.He said he was best he’d ever heard ,high praise indeed and so well deserved.Thank you George you have left us with a very special memory on such a sad day .

I am always wary when booking and paying for things over the net - but in this case all i can say it WOW - went above and beyond - from the moment he quoted, George stayed in contact with us, he liased with our funeral director as well as me - and I must have driven him crazy on the lead up as 35 emails bounced back and forth between us - keeping in touch - and ensuring everything was ok for all concerned... He piped mum in to Amazing Grace and he played beautifully and was waiting outside to play more tunes...

George, we really cannot thank you enough. You made the service what it was, and my uncle would have been so proud. Thank you for making his funeral so special & bringing a little bit of Scotland to Essex. Nothing is ever too much for you. Compliments all around. I would 100% recommend.
