We feel we were so lucky to have found Richard to play at Dad’s funeral. He helped us chose the tunes we liked and liaised with the Funeral Director to make sure Dad had the best send off possible.
Richard’s playing was wonderful and I know that Dad would have been so pleased to have had his favourite tunes played.

Just a short note to say thank you for your fantastic piping tribute to our father yesterday evening.
The evening could not have gone any better for my family and I. You played brilliantly, powerfully and emotionally. It was exactly what we had hoped for, even more so. Even the weather was in our favour.

Richard played the pipes at our wedding, it was fantastic and really added to our day. We would have no hesitation in recommending Richard. His professionalism and attention to detail ensured that it all went smoothly and all the timings worked. He took time to go through the different options with us, explaining what would and wouldn't work whilst giving us different ideas and suggestions. The pipes were fantastic and Richard even let the guests play them.

Just wanted to say a big thanks again for your fantastic contribution to the day...walking Hannah into the ceremony room to Highland Cathedral was very emotional and captured the moment. Scotland the Brave involved everyone as you piped them back as the married couple. Also playing outside was a bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed my attempt to blow a note and I thank you for that... pictures have been circulated and this has only enhanced my reputation.

Richard, on behalf of my Mum, Ross and myself, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for playing at my Dad’s funeral yesterday.

You played Flower of Scotland and Loch Lomond beautifully. These tunes are so special to us all as Dad was born in Glasgow.

My Dad was a wonderful man and the funeral only touched on half of it. Again, I cannot thank you enough.

We want to Thank You for giving Ian such a wonderful send off.

When we decided we wanted a piper to play at Ian's funeral, we weren't sure if we could get one in North Wales, and as luck would have it we Googled you and Hefin from R W Roberts, Abergele also recommended you.

Susie was slightly apprehensive as she'd never heard you play and coming from a musical background she's a bit of a perfectionist as far as music is concerned. When you piped Ian in to Scotland The Brave we were just astounded.

The service was all about Ian and we wanted to do him proud - we didn't want it to be too sombre and depressing. It was hopefully about how much we loved him and what a smashing guy he was. We felt it was dignified and uplifting.

Your musical performance was just incredible - you could have piped us all the way home!!! Thank you so much again for being a very memorable part of Ian's farewell.

Richard, many thanks for the superb playing at our Burns function on Friday night. The guests all enjoyed being piped in on arrival and the piping of the haggis was excellent and enjoyed by all.

Can I confirm next year's date as 22 Jan 2021 and the event will be held in the Officer's Mess. We would like to to confrm the booking with you for this date and we look forward to seeing you again then.

What can I say apart from you are an absolute star and consummate gentleman!

Thank you so very much for your wonderful contribution to the success of our special day. From our first conversation on the telephone I knew you were the perfect choice for us. You are not only an accomplished performer you had a real and human interest in getting the day right for all of us. Such thought and attention to detail is rare - the ability to look at all sides, potential problems and offer suggestions in a manner that we welcomed is even more elusive. You have it all and we hope very much that you realise your value.

Your appearance, stance and demeanour were perfect - so many of our guests commented on those aspects that had you not even raised the pipe I suspect you would have still spread joy - however your playing was beautiful and so right for the occasion. We must commend you on your ability to quite simply keep going during the playing in of the guests to the reception - there were so many to greet and the lay person has little idea regarding the physical demands on the Piper.

After the event we were spoken to by a good number of guests who simply wanted to tell us how much the Piper had delighted them. One guest said 'it was my favourite part of the day' - he had found it most uplifting as did many others.

We will be receiving our photographs soon and will make sure that we send you a couple of nice ones that you can use for your website.

Richard played at my Mother’s funeral. The performance was professionally done and made the day extra special. Everyone who came enjoyed not only the music, but the presentation of Richard himself, who looked very smart in traditional piper dress!

We found Richard's details on Google and after an initial meeting decided to book him to play at our wedding. Richard kept in contact with us in the lead up to the day, let us choose which music we wanted for different parts of the ceremony. We have had no end of positive feedback from our guests. Richard stood under a gazebo in the rain playing while our guests arrived and he really went the extra mile. Richard's rendition of Highland Cathedral for walking up the aisle was beautiful and he added some fun too the day leading us into our reception piping Scotland the Brave. We are so glad we booked him, would 100% recommend.

I recently hired Richard to play the pipes at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club, to celebrate New Years Eve. I cannot recommend him enough! He was very professional and reliable. He also looked fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate in booking Richard for any future events

I cannot speak highly enough of Richard and his ability to entertain. He visited us today at our activity centre, the Therapeutic Support Service in Bryn Y Neuadd Hospital and played for our patients who were absolutely delighted! So colourful and cheerful, our patients were absolutely blown away (excuse the pun)! I would heartily recommend Richard for any of your events where a dignified, professional, friendly and skilled entertainer is required. He was really wonderful and we were so glad to see him....and of course, what a sound!
