The BHV (group of 4 musicians) played at a 50th birthday party held outside on a pub terrace. They were excellent and pitched the songs perfectly for the location and ambience of the event.
There was great communication beforehand, and on the night they took care of everything, knowing we would be busy with guests - they both set up with no fuss and packed up quickly and unobtrusively at the end of the evening.
Guests commented on how good they were, including one friend who is a saxophonist himself and plays in a band!
I would definitely recommend them.

We've seen Barrel House Vipers quite a few times in Bristol so were really keen to book them for a swing dance event with 90 dancers. Needless to say they were awesome. They're a fantastic band with hugely talented musicians who catered for a range of speeds for lindy hop, bal, blues and shag. We'd really love to have them back again and couldn't recommend highly enough!

They were the perfect band for our wedding. They sounded amazing and made our day feel so special. I would 10/10 recommend this band.

We booked Barrel House Vipers for a birthday party as we had a theme of glamourous and wanted music that would fit that theme. They were perfect and everyone kept asking us who they were! I expect we'll see them again soon as i've no doubts they'll be booked for other events by our friends now! They were brilliant musicians, polite and friendly and were very professional, setting up and packing down quickly and respectfully for what was going on during the party.

I booked this wonderful band and they completely made our event! They were highly professional and really good communicators in the build up to the event. They also chose music which suited the feel of the event the whole time and got everyone dancing towards the end which will be a wonderful memory from our special day. Book them! They won't disappoint!

What a fantastic band! I cannot praise them highly enough. They really made the party fly. Fantastic people, amazing vocals, fabulously talented musicians. They are all so full of energy and fun. They had everyone on their feet calling for more.

Hearing you in New Orleans earlier this year was the premier musical treat we had during our week there. And yes, we bought you CD and hope to buy more and see you live again. If we are lucky, you will be in New Orleans this next March or we will be able to catch you in Bristol when we are in England next year. Your musicianship is superb and your lead singer is beyond amazing--great New Orleans style swing. Thank you all.

Amazing!!! Prompt, professional, and excellent all round. Truly authentic Jazz and Swing sound. Highlights include their acapella rendition of 'You Can Call Me Al', and a truly unique version of 'Flight Of The Bumblebees' which must be seen to be believed!
Unfortunately big cats startle easily, so a live band was perhaps not the ideal choice for this particular event. However this is not their fault, and despite the hubbub, they performed most admirably. I will definitely be booking again.

The Lazy River band we’re very professional and organised. They were prompt and very punctual, well dressed and friendly. The music suited our event perfectly and got people dancing and smiling. Highly recommended!

Foot stomping, bum wiggling, jazzy goodness! Love this band, great energy, amazing musicians! They created an atmosphere of fun and frolics that made for an excellent night of dancing and good times, can't recommend them strongly enough, felt like travelling back to the roaring 20's!

Sooo good! We hired the talented Lazy River Band for a wedding at the Ethicurean restaurant just outside Bristol in October 2017. They created a perfect atmosphere for the wedding and were very pleasant to work with. Highly recommend!

Fabulous!!! We booked The Lazy River for my 1920's birthday cocktail party. They were fantastic, setting the perfect atmosphere. They are professional, reliable but more importantly brilliantly talented musicians. I would certainly recommend them.

This is an amazing band, totally professional, totally reliable and a joy to have at any event. Every guest loved them and would return to see them play, they get the audience involved and are a total asset to any event. Would definitely employ them again, they understand what you need them to do and are flexible and incredibly easy to work with, a great price and worth it if you want your event to go off with a huge bang.
