Benji is a top class act! Playing a variety of songs throughout the decades that range from sing-a-long songs to more chilled acoustic sounds! Good at reading a room and knowing how to work an audience. I've seen him at some of my Open Mics that I host at The Lion in Cliftonwood and he always goes down really well!

Would recommend him to anyone looking for some great entertainment for their pub/event!

Benji, absolutely smashed it. He performs a really varied and unusual choice of covers for a lone singer / guitarist with a great stage presence.

Benji Was Brilliant. Excellent singing, Great guitar playing, perfectly practiced and very professional. it all made for a very impressive show. He entertained the crowd and put on a great show. Song choice also deserves a mention, as he picked nothing but bangers! Respect.

Ben is a versatile and talented guitarist and singer. We were delighted to have him perform at the last two editions of the Folk 'n' Ale festival, which we organise each year at our venue in Sark in August, and he made a wonderful contribution to the fun and festive atmosphere of the day. We can’t wait to have him back with us this year!

Benji performed at my birthday party and exceeded all expectations. His voice is stunning, and his ability to read the room and bring the right energy made the night unforgettable. He also has an amazing range of songs, which kept everyone entertained all night. Would 100% recommend!

Benji was a great performer for our work corporate event, he was very easy to get on with and was able to organise a lot of elements he needed himself, something that we would not have had the knowledge to do. He is a great singer and we will definitely be keeping him in mind for future events!

Ben was great! He's a wonderful musician with an adroit command of the audience. I watched him play solo and with others, perform covers, and play a few of his own tunes, which were awesome. Strongly recommended.

Lovely man, great musician and a real crowd pleaser, we have had in him twice now and is due back again soon, would happily have him more regular, when he is back in guernsey we always find him a space.

Ben hit off our BBF event and it was the perfect way to start the evening. He had a lovely chilled set which matched the vibes of the night perfectly and our patrons really enjoyed singing along. He came to us with professionalism and a lovely attitude and all of us at the White Bear really enjoyed having him! We've got a few more live music nights planned with Ben and will be sure to book more in the future as well.

We had the pleasure of having a singer perform at our garden party, and he was absolutely fantastic. His voice was beautiful and perfectly suited to the relaxed outdoor atmosphere. He created a lovely ambiance that our guests really enjoyed, balancing upbeat songs with softer background music.

Benji Grut performed at our charity fundraiser called Rock the Rock which took place in Sark in July 2025. He quickly had people on their feet dancing to favourites. Benji’s repertoire includes contemporary songs as well as favourites from the past. His range is from upbeat to moody and he knows how to read the room to entertain accordingly. I look forward to having him back here.
