Big Smoke Brass caught my eye from a cover they don’t even have up anymore and they lived up to literally everything I wanted. Our dinner overran by two hours and true to professionalism they played as long as our venue would allow, launching in as soon as they could - literally every single guest I’ve spoken to since my wedding complimented me on my brilliant choice of band. They even sent us an arrangement of our first dance ahead of time so we could practise to it, and they worked really hard to make our event completely perfect, even tailoring a parade style entrance on the fly! I could not compliment them more. I wish I could get married again so that I can hire them again, but I guess I’ll just have to think grander with my celebrations from here on out to get them back!

We had an amazing day and thoroughly enjoyed having you guys play at our wedding! Thank you for being so accommodating when the timings went out the window! We loved every song you played, but I have to say the cover of Sexual Healing was perfect - I recognised it from the opening drums alone.

We were lucky enough to hire the 6 piece band and singer perform at our wedding, and they were brilliant. From the initial enquiry, to the booking, to the actual day, it was all easy and stress free. All our guests were so complimentary and thoroughly enjoyed the performance, and the band fully vindicated our decision to not have a DJ. Gabriel was very considerate to ask if there were any songs from the set list we definitely wanted to be played, or avoided, and also kind enough to play our own playlist through their speakers between sets. I wouldn't hesitate to hire the band in the future for any other special occasion/event, and would recommend them to everyone!

We were so excited to have Big Smoke at our wedding having had to postpone and it was definitely worth the wait. They were fantastic keeping our guests entertained during our drinks reception. This continued in the evening - many guests said they’d never seen so many people on the dance floor at one time! They guys are great and everyone loved them. The communication leading up to the day was great and they were happy to play the songs we really wanted as well as leaving off those we didn’t really like too much. We would highly recommend Big Smoke Brass!!

We had the Big Smoke Brass come and play at our wedding in Cornwall and I cannot recommend them highly enough! They learnt our first dance song specifically for our wedding and it was amazing to have the band play such a special song to us. We had so many wedding guests come up to us and say how awesome they thought the band were and they definitely got the party started! I would book them again without hesitation! We booked Big Smoke Brass for our wedding reception entertainment, and oh my word did they live up to our expectations! They got our guests on the dance floor, and the vibe in the room was amazing, all because of them! We knew they would be brilliant, but when we requested 'Let It Go' as our first dance so that our daughter could enjoy it, we did wonder if they would say no. We should never have worried, they embraced every request of ours and made our evening absolutely brilliant. I cannot recommend them enough, we will definitely book them again for our next party. 5* isn't enough, a million would be closer to what they delivered for us. So, so happy with everything they did. This band are amazing! We enquired at relatively short notice due to changes with Covid restrictions, and they had a cancellation on our date - luckily for us! 

The whole arranging and booking process was seamless! 

On the day we had the vision that the band would come into the venue playing to surprise our guests and they were more than happy to accomodate! It worked perfectly! Guests who were spread out across the venue all came to join us when they heard the band playing and followed them into the marquee. It was exactly as we'd hoped. 

The dance floor reflected how they were too! The set list was great with everyone knowing all the songs and the performance itself flawless! So many guests have commented on how great you all were! Thank you!

Big Smoke Brass band were absolutely incredible! Our only regret is that we didn't get them to play for longer. They had everyone up, singing and dancing! We loved the set list and we hope that we can arrange another party soon just as an excuse to book these guys again! Just brilliant! Our guest haven't stopped talking about you guys. Big Smoke Brass were phenomenal! They had every guest on the dance floor with their selection of songs to suit all ages, and everyone had a fantastic time. I would love to hire them again in future.

Thank you Big Smoke Brass for making our wedding so special. We wanted to find a band who did something a bit different, and who could play to a wedding crowd without being too ‘cheesy’. I’m so glad they were able to make our wedding in Wales; they were incredible.
From the start, they were flexible about what songs we wanted them to play and were quick to respond - all while being amazing musicians who I’d love to see play all over again. They really judged the mood of the evening and both of their sets were brilliant. Everyone left the evening wanting to know who the band were, how we found them...or wanted to pick up a tuba and start learning. Thank you, thank you!

Dear Big Smoke Brass, I would like to thank you so so much for performing as the warm-up act for our production of Cabaret. It was absolutely fantastic to have such an exciting welcome for our audience members and everyone was buzzing! It was the perfect way to kick off the evening's entertainment!
