Thank you especially to the guys themselves for doing such a great job for us on the day, particularly with the last minute worries about the power being off (luckily it was all ok in the end!) We had so many compliments on how great they were and the song choices were perfect. Everyone had such a fun time dancing and they really made the evening extra special. Thank you also for being so helpful to Grace and for allowing her to sing for the first dance.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to other people and wish you all the best for the future.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the band for Saturday night. From the very first email, you've been fantastic to deal with. Answering all my questions and making sure every detail is correct. Then on the night, the band turned up early, set up promptly, were all dressed for the occasion and of course, played a brilliant couple of sets of music. I've had so many compliments on the band from those who came to the party. The best bit was how enthusiastic the band were to recreate the 'Back to the Future' theme, adding in the extra song 'Night Train' to really bring it to life. We had numerous dropouts due to coronavirus but it was still a great night!

During the build up to our wedding, Ben got in touch with us and was very helpful in advising us on set timings and going through our song choices. He even bought a new adaptor cable so that we could play our own playlist during breaks. He was also accommodating when we changed our mind about the set timings and durations a few days beforehand. The Blue Suede Shoes arrived in good time and were able to set up without disrupting our wedding breakfast. They looked really smart and generally conducted themselves really well and were friendly and open. All of our guests loved them. With regards to the performance, we thought they were excellent. They played all the songs we requested and some of the guests commented that they sounded so good it was hard to believe they were playing live! They exceeded our expectations. They even managed to get my 84 year old Aunt up and dancing. They truly made our wedding day and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality and stylish band for their wedding (or any other event!).

Thank you very much for coming along to Hydon Hobble 2019 and performing at our post-run party! Everyone loved the music. The total raised from the day was over £2,400 which is simply incredible. All the funds raised go towards the Hydon Hill service, particularly to a proposed Woodland Walk and garden with raised beds for the residents.

Absolutely well worth every penny of their fee and I’m so pleased we hired the 5 piece band.
We have had nothing but praise and compliments about the band from all our wedding guests - young and old. My only sadness is that we had to circulate so much with our guests that we couldn’t just listen and dance to every song. Our grown up children and us are trying to think of an event we can organise to hire the band again - we’ve even suggested to one of them to get Engaged so we have an excuse!
The icing on the cake was not only them learning our choice of first dance and performing it beautifully, it was Ben A providing me two days after the wedding with a video of Ben F’s acoustic version they used as a practice video. It was the best wedding present ever and will be listened to and treasured for years.

A sparkling performance for the whole set. They played what we asked for, brought the whole selection to life, kept people dancing non-stop and are great individual performers in their own right. Also, they are a great bunch of blokes who were easy-going when the timing changed a bit and were very happy to fit in with us. I could not think of any way they could be better.

The band were very professional both in their handling of the pre party arrangements and at the venue. They were a brilliant group with a great range of music and we had lots of wonderful comments about them. Would thoroughly recommend.

The Blue Suede Shoes recently played at our wedding near Winchester. In the lead-up, the band were responsive, flexible and professional. They learned a song especially for our first dance, which was great. On the day The Blue Suede Shoes were fantastic: a funky style which got everyone moving. It was our pleasure to have Ben and the band play for us at our Captains Dinner Dance at Basingstoke Golf Club last Saturday Night. We had a quartet playing (Double Bass, Saxophone, Drums and Guitar and lead vocals) and they were excellent, the mood was perfect and the dance floor full all night. We had discussed the playlist beforehand, we were given some sound pointers but the band also added some of our favourite numbers to their sets, and they nailed them! Also and importantly the band were professional, dependable and great communicators in the run up to our event - fully recommend them.

The Blue Suede Shoes went down a storm and were very well received by all of us at the club on the night, simply Ben you “nailed it” and as you know the music played kept the dance floor packed all night. Ben and the band were superb. They were flexible and helpful before the day as we discussed set content and length. They provided a great jazz trio for the afternoon drinks reception and the full 5-piece band for the evening.
