Brilliant singer! Many thanks for a fantastic night

Bob contributed with a fantastic concert in Fjerritslev Church Center in May 2023.

Lots of happy people flocked to Fjerritslev Kirkcenter to hear the happy and well-liked Scotsman.

Bob's concert was a lovely concert, for all age groups. Both his own songs but also huge hits from different decades were sung. Even the audience could choose songs.

All in all, a Bob Ferguson concert is a wonderful experience, filled with joy, humorous remarks, beautiful singing with audience participation and a wonderful personal experience that you absolutely do not want to miss.

Bob Ferguson has played in Hannes Musikcafe in March 2023 and we have been to several of his concerts.
His repertoire ranges widely from the Scottish/Irish/American song treasure mixed with his own numbers. From beginning to end, he involves the audience – ie; - he moves around among the audience and gets them to sing along to the many well-known sing-along songs.
Bob is fantastic at "reading" his audience, makes lots of fun, laughs and jokes and has a fantastic contact with his audience. The songs mix with seasoned fine stories, lots of humour and vivid descriptions.
Dressed in a kilt and with his powerful voice, from the moment he takes the stage, he creates a close and intimate atmosphere, and you leave the concert in a good mood.
We can wholeheartedly recommend Bob Ferguson.

Café Oldschool have had the pleasure of Bob Ferguson playing 2 times this summer at our Café. He has a very broad repertoire which he varies according to the type of guests attending the gig.
We have a Café at the seaside in the northern part of Denmark with guests from all over Europe, so it is important that the musicians we hire can entertain them all, and Bob certainly can.

Saturday, October 14, 2023. Bob Ferguson performed on our party; this was a very special party for us, as we were both 60 years of age, so add up 120 years, we’re married 3 years,6 months and 3 days ánd we both did retire.

We had a smashing party for over 80 family and friends and as we knew Bob Ferguson from the years before, as he played in Beggars Row and Celtic Horizon, we wanted him to play at this very special occasion for us, as we’re fans of the Scottish and Irish Folk Music and we know Bob can get a party going……!

We handed Bob, in advance, as he asked for it, a special list of songs we would like to hear on this evening and Bob used that list, besides some other songs presented by himself.

Bob is a sing-a-song writer who can add lots of atmosphere to the evening, as he can ‘read’ the audience and can act to that; lots of uplifting and stirring music, and the evening, which started quietly, Bob brought to a wonderful climax with everyone singing, clapping and/or dancing. And that all with enormous enthusiasm, laughter, and lots of fun, also in between the songs he sang.

Bob is a master in getting the audience going with everyone having fun! I would recommend him hugely!

We had lots of fun on our party and other party-guests told us later that they loved the show, as well when between the audience, Bob lingers off the podium, still singing!

So, we became, again, a huge fan of him, so thanks to him to make our special evening, well….. special!!!

Bob sang for my mum’s 90th birthday celebration and was a hit with young(er) and old alike. He has a great voice and is also an entertaining story teller. His performance was the highlight of the night for my mum. Highly recommended. Wonderful entertainer, a real crowd pleaser.

Bob was booked for a Burns supper. He was really flexible in what he could offer; I was asking him to play over a prolonged period of time, not a 40min 'set'. He engaged with the crowd brilliantly, and really brought the songs to life.

I would absolutely recommend to anyone and would absolutely use again, thank you Bob.

Bob sang and performed for our carers group giving them a great afternoon of memories of songs, singing and dancing. An afternoon of laughter and entertainment.

29th January 2020 . Bob Ferguson Songwriter. Gurli Møller Neilsen.House Concert Host, Denmark A very special experience for us, was when a Sunday in June, for the first time we held a house concert.
The Artist, yes, it was Bob Ferguson and what a wonderful day it became. We had borrowed a tent. and scraped the neighbours. and own garden chairs together, and had invites family, friends, neighbours, and others, at a concert in the garden. Not everyone knew about Bob already, but we have received incredibly many happy, and positive feedbacks.
Everyone was excited about the music and the amazing atmosphere that Bob created. It was a huge experience, and it didn't require much. Bob is highly recommended if someone has a party in mind, and I certainly don't think it's the last time we do it. and the guests are ready, I have no doubt about that.

Germany Our association organizes, among other things, traditional concerts, especially regional music of Low German culture. Scottish and Celtic music corresponds to this program much.

Bob Ferguson gave us with his music insights and impressions into the everyday life of Scottish life. In his ballads, he sang about love, wanderlust, the landscape and the sea.
He entertained the audience wonderfully, walked through the rows of spectators and encouraged everyone to sing along.
The audience felt transported to the Highlands and Lowlands of Scotland and had this beautiful landscape in mind.
We thank him for this great concert and we look forward to seeing him again in autumn.

And the music he's playing is diverse. Scottish and Irish folk, but also songs made by himself. We knew Bob already from concerts he played in our folkclub with Beggars Row and Celtic Hearts. But his solo concerts are also from high quality. So whenever you have the chance to get him on stage in your folkclub, bar or festival.....?! Book this guy!

We would like to come up with a review on Bob On Saturday 16 September 2023, we celebrated our 116th birthday. We had heard good things about Bob Ferguson from others, so we decided to have him round off a great day with 3 hours of superb entertainment. It was an unforgettable evening, Bob really manages to hit his audience, and the atmosphere was instantly top notch. Bob got everyone involved, and there was dancing and singing along to the big gold medal. And the best recommendation you can get is that we have hired Bob Ferguson again for a good and pleasant day/evening in March 2024.
