About
Bollywood Fusion are an extremely versatile and entertaining acoustic set-up led by female vocals and highly talented accompanists. The band perform as a quartet with a lead Singer, Keyboardist, Saxophonist and Tabla player.
Although specialising in classic and modern Bollywood, the band’s delightful sound will also take you on a journey through Soul, Jazz and Classic 80's Pop right the way through to the hits of today. The ability to play such a wide range of genres makes this band unique but also very adaptable to different audiences and backgrounds.
The Band's first big event came when the group were asked to write a song for the United Nations which became a global success and was immediately followed by a presentation at the prestigious Mandrake in London. This event became the launch pad for several performances at corporate events including at The London Hilton for over 500 guests at the annual Charity Clarity Awards, UK, Barclays Bank and Boston Consulting for recent Divali events as well as prestigious London venues such as the National Theatre.
Since then, the distinctive sound of Bollywood Fusion have become a popular function band across the UK and abroad with client bookings at The Rosewood, The Landmark, The Langham and Kensington Roof Gardens as well as the annual Divali Ball in Gibraltar.
Recent live recordings of the band exemplify the professionalism and unity of their music demonstrating an ability to perform in intimate settings as well as to larger audiences.
The collaboration of western pop musicians with Tabla gives the band the added advantage of multi-dimensional musical influences which is both charming, modern and immediately appealing. Cultured and versatile lead vocals make the concept a very attractive choice for almost all occasions!

2 x Speakers , 3 x monitors, 1 x vocal mic, 2 x Tabla mic, 1 x saxophone mic, mixer, mic stands and leads

We are completely self-contained.

Yes absolutely. We have 2 types. The smaller Pa system covers up to 300 persons and the larger up to 500 persons. They are both high end professional.
Yes we do. One is provided entirely free and its wireless, perfect for the MC or speeches
No we self-contained and can play standing as long as we have chairs. A stage is however a better look.
The Natural History Museum for HSBC bank in from of the T-Rex. We played after the flame throwers and before the Cirque Du Soleil gymnasts! High ceilings and our sound echoed everywhere but everyone had a great tine!
Its hard to say as I sing such a wide variety of songs...ok Asha Bhosle and Lata Mangeshkar for sure and then Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, James Brown, Frank Sinatra, Madonna...more recently Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Arijit Singh..I could go on and on...My greatest song...there are way too many
I've always enjoyed singing but realised that I loved entertaining when I did my first live song at a friend's wedding back in the early noughties.....went down a treat and I convinced myself that I should take it further. And I'm so happy I did!
No preference. They all provide great memories for us as a band! We give 100% whatever the event, whether that's a full on wedding or a small intimate private gathering.
We offer:

Up to 3 hours total playing time (extra fees applicable)
At least 1 hour set-up but can be more depending on the event

We are happy to play outside although we would need some shade, ideally a stage area and power within easy reach
Yes. We have a large repertoire so clients can easily pick their favourites. We are happy for them to request a song for a special occasion or entrance and if its playable, we would be happy to do so. There is sometimes a small fee for this if its completely new to us.

Yes we absolutely will. But within reason of course. We can always give you 30 minutes of leeway from the start of our performance. That means if you booked us from 8pm for 2 hours and we ended up starting at 8.30pm, we will still give you 2 hours of performance time and finish at 10.30pm.
Yes we can. Although we do have to charge for this and we can agree a reasonable rate beforehand.
