We had a 1920 theme party and the band absolutely perfectly set the scene with their wide range of songs / music . Everyone thought the band were amazing !

The BV's played for us at our wedding. Their set was the perfect mix of classics and more recent hits; guaranteed to get everyone on the dance floor. Carol and the band expertly arranged our first dance request, Michael Buble's rendition of 'You gotta friend in me'. They made the night truly memorable!

I booked The BV's to perform at The Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh on 20th May 2017 as part of a programme to present some of the finest acts from Edinbugh and beyond in the iconic setting of Palm Court. Since then I have booked The BV's a number of times and have come to rely on their high standard of performance and their flexible approach particularly in the different musician line ups they can offer for different performances. Their collective professional experience and musicianship I have come to hold in high regard.

We hired The BV’s for a VIP launch of a new development. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish, despite having a really tough crowd. The song selection was absolutely spot on for the event and we had lots of positive feedback from everyone who was at the event. I’d have no qualms in recommending the band again – fantastic!

The BV's helped make our party something special!! Live music certainly creates a lively, happy atmosphere which everyone enjoyed. They made everything easy, from pre-visit, to set up early and they were keen to fit with our choice of songs and our limited space. Carol has a perfect voice for her choice of jazzy blues – well worth their rate!

It was a great gig on Saturday and everyone at the New Winton concert really enjoyed BV's music. Lots of good feedback.

The BV's were brilliant, just what we wanted! They provided the music for our Roaring Twenties Christmas party, they played the perfect selection of songs to keep the dance floor jumping!

I can't thank the whole band enough got the amazing music and atmosphere they created during our wedding party in Edinburgh. We hired the BV's for our 'Party in the Park' festival in June 14. Despite the poor weather the band were 'instrumental'(!) in creating aa good party atmosphere and tailored their set list to suit all tastes. They have a great blend of classic swing band to modern pop and could be relied upon for a professional performance. Great job guys, thank you so much.

The BV's were just perfect for our YMCA Narnia Charity Ball. Our guests were from every generation and all loved it. Fantastic to see everyone up dancing and having such fun. We will certainly be booking BV's for our next event.

The BV's listened to what we were looking for and put together the perfect set for the end of our awards ceremony. Their music created a great atmosphere in the room and even had some people up dancing.

Nothing was too much trouble and the musicians were all fantastic. The dance floor was full all night and so many people have said to me that they loved the music and had never danced so much in a long time! I would absolutely recommend the BV's!

The BV's performed in June 2016 at my parents Golden Wedding celebration and we couldn't have asked for better. Their playlist was excellent and fitted perfectly for the occasion. They set up up promptly and were excellent at involving my parents and the younger guests appropriately making it a very special and enjoyable evening. I actually can't recommend them any higher!

The fact that you played to a crowd of 80 mixed age group, and that the majority were dancing most of the evening, speaks volumes about the quality of your music. Many of these people had not danced for decades! The young people who attended the party also danced the night away! Thank you so much for making our celebration such a success.

I hired the BV's to play for me after hearing them play at a friend’s house party, and once again their performance was excellent. I asked for lively, bubbly and jazzy music and that was exactly what I got, though I am sure they could turn their hand to a whole range of music. Since the party I have had a great many positive comments and praise from guests saying how much they had enjoyed the music and the natural ease with which it was delivered. I would recommend them highly and definitely hire them again.
