Ceilidh With Us are BRILLIANT.

We originally booked the duo to play an Irish/Country set during our reception drinks at our wedding. After chatting with them we then made them an integral part of our ceremony too. They played my wife down the aisle live, played songs during the ceremony and played us out of the room also.

In the run up to the day, communication was perfect, we were able to make requests, change things and working with them was so easy! They really made the ceremony and reception and so many of our guests commented on how much they loved the music and the atmosphere it created.

Special mention to the two songs our guests sung along to during our ceremony, it sounded beautiful and a huge thanks to both for learning a slightly obscure song to play my wife down the aisle. It was amazing!

We can not recommend Ceilidh With Us enough, they are awesome! Book them! We would love to again.

You were AMAZING!! Everything about you and your team was awesome. You made me feel so comfortable in communications beforehand and I wasn’t worried about a thing as a result. And I was right not to worry, as it was perfect from start to finish. The music and the 'calling' were the best I have ever come across. And the piper too was brilliant. Oh, what a night I had to remember on Saturday. (11.9.2021) Ceilidh with Us came to do a Ceilidh for my big birthday bash and provided a disco for afterwards. They were just out of this world and had everybody up dancing or jigging along in their seats. Their sound quality and musicianship were first class and the caller, who had the biggest task keeping everyone in check, did a magnificent job. My guests were in fits of laughter and he was so patient with us and eventually managed to guide most of us through our paces. What a fantastic band! The booking process was easy and seamless, communication was great, and the band created a brilliant atmosphere at our joint 40th/60th family birthday party. Our very experienced caller got all the guests on the dance floor - with ages from 3 to 83, and a number of guests with wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility needs, that was no mean feat! We had a wonderful evening, and made some brilliant memories that will last a lifetime. All the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much to the band for making our special evening such a success!

Wow! These guys were amazing! They were really clear and easy to communicate with in the build-up to our event (wedding) and we're always looking for ways to make the day brilliant. The band and the caller on the day surpassed even our best hopes and we knew before they had even performed we had made the right choice. They were relaxed, friendly, adaptable and professional. Most importantly, they were brilliant at getting people dancing! Could not recommend them enough - I'm tempted to throw another event just to use them once more!

We wanted a ceilidh dance for a part of the night along with more modern and 'traditional' wedding wedding party songs later on, and to be honest we were struggling to find any groups that 'fit the bill. Then we found Ceilidh With Us. Right from the first contact we knew it was going to just what we wanted and all throughout the process they were so helpful, from organising the timetable of the evening, to working with our song lists and making it all fit together to create one hell of a fantastic night.

Lilac performed our first dance song amazingly, we couldn't have been happier, and the ceilidh went down a storm (even if we all struggled with the dashing white sergeant - if you know you know).

In short I can not recommend these guys more highly. You will not regret hiring them.

Having a Ceilidh band and a caller will absolutely make your event. There are two things my family and friends talk about when they talk about my wedding: the Ceilidh and our magician. So first off, going for a Ceilidh really is worthwhile. It's super inclusive, all your guests end up dancing together, it's so much fun, loads of laughter and it means EVERYONE is on the dancefloor. So now you're sold on a Ceilidh... you need to think no further than hiring Sound With Us. I have had 70 guests of varying physical abilities, varying ages (from 2 months to 75 years old) and of various languages spoken.... The caller was incredible: fun but also very patient and very visual, repeating instructions as many times as necessary. Also unexpected on the day, one of the member of the band knew a very famous French song which (me being Belgian) meant that my whole family got up and sang with him. He performed in between sets, totally unsolicited. Honestly, Ceilidh With Us helped make our day totally unforgettable.

Ceilidh With Us - WOW WOW WOW. Lilac and Remko honestly put on one of the best nights of our lives for our wedding reception. We were both sceptical of a band that said they could play anything (we challenged them to do a ceilidh and rock covers), but we were proved so wrong as they delivered the best live wedding set I've ever heard. The Scottish people at the wedding commenting on how good the ceilidh was (led by Jake the caller), and Lilac and the band were stunning for the rock covers. Everyone dancing from start to finish. I can't put into words how great these guys were from start to finish, so helpful and accommodating and I would recommend these guys to anyone. Awesome, awesome band.

Ceilidh With Us were amazing! We hired them for a post wedding celebration party and they were everything we wanted them to be. Super helpful in all the contact in the run up to the event and made us feel very relaxed. On the day they could not have been nicer and were super flexible/helpful. These guys provided such an awesome ceilidh at our wedding. We had a lot of in experienced and multinational guests and the caller did an incredible job of getting everyone involved and having fun. It was a real highlight of the night for us and we can't recommend these guys enough!

We had a ceilidh for a volunteer celebration. Even before the event Lilac was super helpful with suggestions of what timings would work well and how to encourage people to get involved. The band arrived in good time to set up and we’re really friendly. They were flexible on the night without us needing to intervene and got people dancing again after a break for speeches. The band also included those with less mobility and were great and encouraging everyone to get involved. We had the majority of people dancing throughout the event. I would totally recommend.

Lilac, the band manager, was great with communication in the run-up to the wedding - very responsive and understood what we were looking for. The band on the day were fantastic and all our guest had an amazing time! Many of them particularly commented on how impressed they were with our caller Nell who did an awesome job in teaching all the dances to such a big crowd of us :)

The band was fantastic to work with, very helpful in the run up to the wedding with sending us pre recordings of our first dance song and organising the songs to be played on the night with us. They were also very flexible about having part ceilidh and part covers during the evening which was perfect! Lilac’s voice is incredible! The ceilidh went very well and all the guests enjoyed themselves swinging each other around! Very friendly and professional team - would definitely highly recommend to others!

The music really did make our wedding reception in July! Excellent Ceilidh that got all of our guests on their feet and smiling followed by a set of real crowd pleasers. Everyone was so helpful and lovely to engage with. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

The band were fantastic for our wedding entertainment. The ceilidh was a big hit and got everyone on the dance floor and together as we’d hoped. Such a great range of cover songs too which made our day, with a finale that was truly memorable! Very professional throughout and a great range of musicians. Would highly recommend!

A ceilidh was the perfect way to kick off the evening festivities at our wedding. We loved seeing guests of all ages getting involved, having a laugh, getting it right and wrong but always with enthusiasm! Our caller Adam was so energetic and lots of guests commented on how good he was. We had such fun and would recommend the excellent band for a memorable experience

The ceilidh was all amazing, couldn’t fault it. The caller worked really hard to make sure everyone at least sort of had a clue what they were doing, and adapted it for when there were too many couples and not enough space! Only complaint is that he almost killed me making me do Strip the Willow line twice with my very enthusiastic husband!! Thanks for everything 😊

We had Ceilidh With Us for our wedding and they were utterly flawless!! Our guests were absolutely raving about the ceilidh; the band got everybody dancing and their energy and enthusiasm was electric. We had some specific requests relating to our first dance and they were utterly fantastic, doing everything we asked for. We were delighted with the ceilidh band; they were lovely, professional and sounded brilliant! I was really impressed how they matched the energy of the guests really well, making sure to give little breaks or easier dances when energy was flagging and also played some lovely high energy numbers to get the dancing started! The venue was also really complimentary at how quick and professional they were at setting up and putting away at the end with no bother. Lastly, they pitched the level perfectly with some more difficult pieces and some easier ones that really suited our mostly beginner crowd. Hired for a Ceilidh at our wedding. Super easy to organise and on the day the band and callers were lovely. Adapted very quickly when everyone was getting too hot and we managed to do the rest of the sets outside which was amazing.

We had a ceilidh for our wedding last week. Jake, Aidan, Anna and Rob were incredible. Jake in particular made the night and EVERYONE has said this to us, asking where we found him and that his enthusiasm got everyone up and dancing. The band were very flexible in terms of timings on the night as we were a bit delayed for one reason or another but they were great. Truly amazing and we can’t say thank you enough! The venue have echoed how great and how professional the band were, and are looking forward to having them back in the near future for another wedding. They all loved having a ceilidh there too! Cannot fault the whole experience from start to finish and it made the night so perfect. Would love to have a ceilidh every weekend..!

Great band. We booked them for my wedding. Unfortunately, we were behind schedule but the band were really professional and understanding! And also excellent at managing a very drunk crowd to have a great time when the ceilidh began!

We hired the Ceilidh With Us band for our wedding and the night was just excellent. Communication before the event was detailed but straightforward. On the night, the caller was absolutely brilliant and the rest of the band were all super talented. It sounded great, the setup was great, and they had plenty of people dancing who don't normally (or ever!) dance. One couple told us they'd literally never danced together before that night! So all in all, brilliant. Would highly recommend!

The music was really fun and it was helpful when songs got gradually faster; the speed was perfect. The band also managed the number of people well, as there were a lot of people for the space. The communication with the band has been absolutely fantastic as well in terms of meetings, arranging things behind the scenes, and coordinating with the venue. We ended up leaving a bit early simply because we were absolutely exhausted by that point, and the band were wonderful and accommodating in terms of changing the order of songs, so thank you for that - it was a shame we couldn’t stay right until the end!

I cannot fault this band in any way! We kept the ceilidh as a surprise for our wedding guests and it went down as well as we had hoped! The caller was excellent and all the guests engaged well and the dances were so fun and energetic. We have had so many compliments since our wedding about that and can't wait to see the professional photos because we know they will show just how much fun we had. The band then continued on for another hour playing covers of popular wedding songs which was also excellent. The band were very quick, efficient and professional, and the booking process, forms and numerous zoom calls made the whole thing very easy and stress-free. We really can't recommend this band enough!!

Such a fun dancing evening! The ceilidh was a definite highlight of our wedding. Everyone joined in and had at amazing time. It was lovely to see all our guests dancing and laughing together. The band went out of their way to ensure our wedding celebrations went smoothly - they helped us with the cake cutting, our first dance and had a lovely surprise for us at the end! Highly recommend.

We had an AMAZING time! The band were incredible - after we sorted out the wind logistics we were off! Lilac and the band were the perfect choice for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah party. She was a pleasure to work with and was happy to tailor a set to suit our needs. The band learned a number of songs especially for us, which was amazing. They have excellent equipment that ensured they were able to tailor the sound to the space perfectly - not too loud, not too quiet. Lilac and co are great performers and got everyone dancing, including some usually-sulky teenagers. They made our daughter feel special and she had an amazing time. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We had a great night. They certainly made us exercise and it was sooooo hot!

Everyone really enjoyed themselves - there was lots of laughter. Unfortunately, it is apparent that we are quite uncoordinated!
