This band made our wedding! So talented and all the guests loved the dancing. For us as the bride and groom this is the BEST decision we made to have them throughout the day. Fun, personable, professional and talented….please do not hesitate to book these wonderful people for your special event 😊

Great Ceilidh for my sisters wedding! I really enjoyed it and it was lead really well. The sound was great and travelled well throughout the hall. The dancing was energetic from all and the calling was helpful and authentic. The musicians in the band were great people and were encouraging and fun. I would thoroughly recommend them and book them for my own wedding! 10/10! Well done guys!

The music was fantastic (great to listen to outside as well as for those dancing).
You were great at encouraging everyone to join in. We had a lot of reluctant dancers in the room who leapt in and had a great time, including both of our Dads and two teenage boys! Everyone felt that the moves were explained in a really accessible way for the many beginners!

It was such a wonderful way to start married life. We'll definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a ceilidh band.

Ceili Max put on an exceptional night for us. The piper and whistler set during the ceremony was beautifully delivered, with a few tears in people's eyes before the wedding was even fully underway. The star of the show was the Banghra Ceilidh. Tad and the rest of the band did a fantastic job keeping the Banghra element a surprise for my Bengali wife who was utterly delighted with Jeevan's reveal. The sound of both elements in combination for the first time was sublime and raised the atmosphere in the room to another level. I never thought we'd have more than a third of our guests up dancing; yet within the first couple of songs our caller had managed to draw what seemed like nearly every guest up, putting their best foot forwards with huge smiles all round. Simply put, Ceili Max injected a massive dose of fun into our special day- we'd book them again in a heartbeat.

Ceili Max put on an excellent ceilidh – and I’ve been to a lot! The music was first rate and they kept a room full of novice dancers going all night, through their energy and love of the music they were playing. Their combination of friendliness and professionalism really helped to buoy the atmosphere; I’d recommend them to anyone (unless your event clashes with mine!)

I wanted to thank you all for a wonderful evening’s entertainment on Friday. Sadly we finished the meal late but given our lack of ability maybe we had tried the patience of the Caller sufficiently!

It was one of the highlights of the evening and I’ve had so many comments on what fun it was and how pleasant you all were.

Fantastic band,just played at our Son's wedding, gave 110% and loved the late night impromptu jam! Would highly recommend for a fun night with talented musicians!

Jason and I had always wanted a Ceilidh to feature in our wedding. Ceili Max were absolutely brilliant - really professional, nice people who are incredible musicians. All the guests loved listening to them play and joining in with all the dances. It was perfect and we would have no hesitation in recommending them for events.

Just wanted to drop a quick note to show our appreciation. Alice and I had a fantastic day and the ceili was certainly a highlight.

You all played fantastically and the atmosphere in the barn was amazing. We’ve had great feedback from our guests- they all loved the music and dancing. Of those who had been to ceilis before, they said it was the best one they’d been to. Thanks to you all- a brilliant evening.

We chose Ceili Max after extensive research looking for Ceilidh bands for my husband's 50th birthday party. They provided a great atmosphere to get everyone on the dance floor, ranging in age from two years old to the young at heart Communication prior to the event with Tad was very responsive and clear. I had no worries about being let down at the last minute or any surprises. The band showed up on time, provided amazing music and went through the dance moves clearly. I wouldn't hesitate in booking Ceili Max again for another event.

I cannot rate Ceili Max more highly. All of the members of the band were helpful, enthusiastic and incredibly talented! They went above and beyond to make our evening special. All 150 people danced all evening and I put this entirely down to the energy generated by Ceili Max. We have already booked them in for our next event. Highly recommend - book them now!!

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for playing at our wedding last Sunday. We had such a brilliant day and you guys were a big part of the fun so thank you!

We really appreciate you guys being able to play a bit earlier to accommodate our missing guitarist from the other band. Slightly stressful when you all arrived, sorry about that, but we got there in the end! I hope it worked out ok for you guys and you got plenty to eat and drink.

We loved the Ceílí even though despite Louisa's brilliant instruction we were quite terrible at remembering what to do! Haha! Great fun though!

Just want to say a quick thank you to Tad and the boys on Saturday. We had a fab day. The music went down extremely well as did our dancing of the siege of Ennis. We had a lot of fun!
The musicians were great and a lot of people commented on how great they were. We'd like to thank them for their part in making our day. All the best for the future!

We booked Ceili Max for our wedding in Kent in July 2016. Tad was absolutely fantastic from the off, providing a speedy and competitive quote, and answering any queries I had all the way up to the wedding. The team arrived on time to set up, were very mindful of not interrupting any of the proceedings and gave us a wonderful night of music and dancing. They were always accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you all!

The Ceili was great - all the guests loved it and we did too. It made the evening! The band were so flexible and they changed the sets to make it work for the venue and what the guests were doing. The room was pretty hot so non-stop dancing wasn't really possible.
Throughout the process Ceili Max were professional and always contactable, and it was really good to speak with Tad on the phone.
The music was really beautiful too, and my dad (an Irish accordion player) was impressed. He said that the sound was very full and created a great atmosphere.

Céilí Max are an incredibly talented group of musicians. Their technical skill was clear from the moment they opened our party, but along with that came a vibrant and personal approach to entertaining the room. All of our guests were up on the floor dancing and they truly made the night!

Well what a cracker of a céilí that was! Céilí Max played for us at our wedding and the buckets of sweat that were dripping off our guests in the chill of the evening just about says it all about how fantastic they were! The music – fantastic, the caller – brilliant (and hilarious) and communication leading up to the day – couldn’t have asked for more. We (and all our guests – they are still talking about it!) had an absolute ball at the céilí you put on for us and we highly recommend Céilí Max!

The Irish Arts Foundation has worked with the team from Céilí Max on a number of occassions – its a partnership we intend to maintain. When we need top class performers in the south of England Ceilimax are always high on the list. In the world of folk and traditional music you need to be careful: there are alot of ‘pretenders to the the throne’. The guys from Céilí Max have the distinction of being on top of their game musically as well as professionally – a rare blend.
