We booked Celestial Cello for our wedding and she was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She was so friendly, easy to talk to, and kept in regular contact in the lead-up to the day, which really put us at ease. Her song list was fantastic, with so many beautiful choices — but what meant the most to us was that she learned my walk-in song especially for the reception. It was such a magical moment and truly added something unforgettable to our day.

Celestial Cello is a fantastic cellist and played at our wedding in a string duo. From our first contact with Rebecca, she was really helpful and reliable. She provided some great advice on music choices and setup, whilst also happily accommodating our personal requests. The string duo were a fantastic accompaniment to our ceremony (including for the hymns we had chosen) and drinks reception, and all our guests enjoyed the music. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rebecca!

We hired Celestial Cello for our wedding, together with a violinist. They were absolutely fantastic on the day, as they performed during the ceremony and drinks reception and exceeded all expectations. The ceremony was made up of classical and more current music, with the drinks ceremony being pop music, showing the versatility of the two of them. Rebecca was brilliant to communicate with before the wedding day, as we discussed options and songs, with Rebecca providing recommendations. Rebecca then helped arrange for scores to be written of certain songs we really wanted played on the day, but did not exist for strings at the time. I cannot recommend enough.

For our wedding, we wanted modern music plates in cello- Celestial Cello was the first to respond to our quote request, and quick to send us a repertoire. She also suggested a cello/violin duo might work better for the music pieces we wanted and she was right! It didn’t cost us extra and when we asked for a specific song, Rebecca was more than accommodating with our request for it to be played in a certain style. I thoroughly enjoyed the bits that I was able to hear, and we had fantastic feedback from our guests.

I recently booked Celestial Cello to play at my daughter’s wedding. She was punctual, professional and very flexible and willing to adapt to circumstances which changed at the last minute. Her playing is breathtakingly beautiful; she has a rich tone and a wonderful sense of lyricism in her playing. I would recommend Rebecca as a cellist at your event or function.
