Star of stage & Screen and No1 selling composer, Charlie Carter, provides an uplifting Soulful Acoustic or electric set of Jazz/Soul/Blues & Rock & roll Classics, such as 'Thats Amore','Stand by me','Wonderful world','My Girl', 'Fly me to the moon','The girl form Ipanema' Ideal for a wedding, intimate restaurant or lively sing a long and has been playing live for over 25 years either as lead vocalist in bands or as a solo artist on the circuit in bars/pubs/restaurants. Charlie is also a recording Artist who has released three Studio Albums and his new single 'Most of all' recorded at the famous Abbey road studios went straight to No1 on the iTunes Jazz charts, with all proceeds going to Battersea dogs home. Previous to this, 2019 release 'Every Ounce Of Love' an 8 track album of original Jazz/Swing songs was on the back of 2017 release 'Nothing short of love' a 10 track album of originals and four track ep 'Here's to your life' in 2014. Charlie plays live with a full PA system just himself and an semi acoustic/electric guitar and vocal harmoniser with a repertoire of over 125 songs playing modern versions of songs by artists such as Sam Cooke, Ben E King, The Beatles, The Kinks, Frankie Valli, Frank Sinatra, Otis Redding, Minnie Ripperton and many others. Charlie plays a lot of restaurants and intimate bars that will get you singing along and up on your feet. Charlie has a fantastic compact PA system that produces a professional and high end production sound and takes up very little room.
Charlie is an accomplished actor of stage and screen most notable for playing DC Martin Long in C4's 'Deceit', Matthew Cox in Eastenders and Dr. Robinson in Hollyoaks, Charlie has appeared in over 40 films and most recently just finished filming 'Jolly good Christmas' playing Coopersmith and prior to that 'Blithe spirit with Dame Judi Dench' and Jazz film 'The little giant' playing Jazz club owner Ronnie Scott. Theatre credits include,'Pygmalion' The English Theatre Frankfurt, 'Proud' at the Lost Theatre, 'Bus Riley's back in town' at the Jermyn street Theatre, 'Dawlish rd' at the Soho Theatre, 'Lone star' at the Theatre 503 and Edinburgh Festival, 'Miller' at the Pleasance Theatre, 'Lone star/Private wars' at the Kings head Theatre, 'A Christmouse tale' UK tour, 'Second class parents', 'Listen' and 'A moment of silence' all at the Etcetera Theatre, 'Talent' and 'White wedding' both at Upstairs at the Gatehouse, 'Best men' and 'Its Christmas Carol' both at the Hen & Chickens, 'Dave's Turn' at the Union Theatre, 'Joseph and his amazing technicolor dreamcoat' at the Theatre Royal Windsor.
Charlie has produced many of his own music videos and appeared in many others for artists such as 'The Stereophonics', 'Broen', 'Morrissey & Marshall' and appeared and sang on the Official England song 'Sing 4 England' for the 2012 Euros, which reached No8 in the Indie charts.

Charlie has a high end full PA system and only requires a nearby plug outlet.
Charlie will either do the standard two sets of 45 minutes or three sets of 30 minutes with a total stage time of 1hr 30 minutes although Charlie pretty much always goes over these times.
