We had Chris on Piano and Bagpipes for our wedding at Cameron House on Loch Lomond. He was absolutely outstanding and blew us and all our guests away. Chris was very professional and pleasant. He really took the time before our wedding to chat through all questions or preferences we had, he even had some suggestions of his own too which were very helpful for us. His music was really great and it helped to add to the atmosphere of the day and fitted in wonderfully with our countryside surroundings. We had a lot of non-Scot’s at our wedding, and so many of them loved the added touch of having a piper there! Chris played beautifully and his music added an extra special something to our day! We hired Chris to play piano and bagpipes at our wedding. He played the piano as I entered the ceremony and for a few hours in the background whilst the photographs were being taking. This was beautiful and so glad we done this as everyone commented on how beautiful it was. He then piped us into the evening ceremony which was just perfect. I am so glad we went for Chris; he played the piano and bagpipes amazingly it was such a lovely touch to the day and would 100% recommend Chris.

It was a pleasure to have Chris play on our wedding day, first welcoming guests with bagpipes and then playing low whistle during the ceremony. Chris is an excellent musician - the music was beautiful and made our big day even more special! By having multiple instruments in his repertoire, we were able to pick the perfect music for each part of the day. Throughout the planning process, Chris made great suggestions for pieces of music to play and was very flexible and accommodating.

Chris is an outstanding musician who made my 50th birthday celebrations very memorable. Chris played the piano for the champagne reception, and it was fantastic, it added a real classy ambiance to the celebrations, his catalog is vast and his music was enjoyed by all the guests. Then on New Year's Eve itself, he played the bagpipes at the entrance to the castle. It was amazing and authentic. Chris wore the full Scottish attire and amazed the guests. Everyone had a picture and everyone said how memorable it was. 100% book Chris again for my 60th! Such a great guy too and very easy to work with. Thanks so much again!

Chris played piano for our wedding ceremony and drinks reception and did a wonderful job. Getting in touch and organising everything with him was super easy and he was very responsive to messages. We had a number of specific requests which ran a bit random from classical to modern pop to movie soundtracks as well as a general unhelpful brief of "contemporary" beyond that but he was happy to accommodate us, nailed the vibe we were going for and his playing was beautiful. A year on I still have guests talk about his playing of "Concerning Hobbits" that we had for the guests getting seated ha! I'd absolutely recommend Chris for anyone's special day.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Chris as the piper at our wedding. We booked him to pipe the guests in and out of the ceremony, at our rural farm/barn venue in May 2023. He was friendly and helpful when I got in touch. He is a serious ‘trad’ musician, not just someone who knows a few wedding classics, and he played a fantastic selection of tunes on the day. We spoke beforehand about the sort of pipe tunes that we like, and he accommodated this happily. Price was really reasonable, and he was organised, communicated well in the run up to the day, and arrived in plenty time (always helps to minimise wedding day stress!). Walking across a courtyard to the country bothy we were married in, to the sound of Chris playing the pipes, was one of the most special and emotional moments of my whole wedding day. Whole heartedly recommend him!

It was an absolute pleasure having Chris play both the pipes/keyboard on our wedding day! From the initial booking and planning meetings, all the way through to the actual day, Chris went above and beyond to make sure every part of the music was perfect. Chris played for us at my Dad's funeral in Airdrie; outside the church as we left, then piped us along the road while we walked to the graveside. It was absolutely beautiful and my dad would have thought it was amazing. My dad lived in Warwickshire for 37 years and Chris played "Caledonia" as we walked and it was just so fitting. There were many who attended from England and they all absolutely loved it. wonderful send off for my dad. Thank you.

Chris came to play his pipes for our family gathering at Abbotsford House in Melrose in August 2022. He played for around 45 minutes and we were absolutely delighted with his performance. As well as playing many of the usual pipe tunes, Chris was also happy to play a few requests such as the Skye Boat song and Mull of Kintyre. Chris was a real professional: communication before the event was very easy and responsive, and on the day he travelled from Glasgow to be with us, arriving perfectly on time. Chris was immaculately turned out, and was happy to stay on for photos and chatting at the end of his set. Chris is very personable and professional, I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a piper for a family or professional gathering.

Chris piped at my daughter’s wedding to welcome the guests to the ceremony and then piped my daughter into the venue. Our guests were so pleased to have a piper welcome them as it is always emotional hearing the bagpipes played so well.
My daughter could hear Chris from her guest house close by and that was so lovely to be waiting to come to your wedding with the pipes in the background.

Chris was lovely to deal with and was the only person to personally phone me when we were scouting for a piper. He also followed up the week before to make sure everything was going to be perfect for us. A great musician and we loved having him at our special day.

Chris was the perfect musician for our wedding. We had a winter/Christmas wedding, Chris was able to combine a mixture or Christmas music into his set list for us. Chris was really good with communicating with us on the lead up to the wedding. He was very accommodating with his set list and was able to play the songs I requested. I booked Chris for my friends wedding (pianist for the ceremony). Chris was great from start to finish in checking all the information with me and was happy to play all the songs my friend had been wanting. He was also great at making song suggestions for certain parts of the ceremony where we weren't quite sure. Overall great experience and would highly recommend Chris.

I booked Chris as my piper and could not have been happier with him. We had an initial phone conversation where I told him what songs I'd like to be piped at my wedding. On the day, he piped me along the street to Mairi's wedding (my choice) and piped Skye Boat song (my favourite song) as I walked out. He then stayed at my request to be in photos. Chris was very reasonably priced for his service and I would use him again in a heartbeat. He made my dream of being piped in at my wedding come true.
