Cover Up - A perfect accompaniment to a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Michael and Paul provided the perfect musical entertainment for a sociable afternoon garden party. The song selection was superb, as was the performance.

Cover Up provided more than background music. The ambience created completely engrossed the party guests, who clearly enjoyed the performance, and were singing along and smiling as they recognised each of the songs. Even my neighbours enjoyed the performance, stopping what they were doing and observing from their own gardens.

While I have plenty of playlists that I can use during my social gatherings, you reminded me how Live performance transcends the lyrics and music and provides a dynamic energy that lifted my party above just another social gathering.

Thank you for an excellent addition to my annual garden party, I look forward to seeing you again, same time next year.

What an absolute pleasure and privilege it was to welcome Cover Up to the Creigiau Inn on Saturday, 25th July.

From the moment you started playing, you created the most incredible atmosphere, and it was so lovely to look around and see my guests smiling, singing, dancing, and genuinely having the best time. You brought such amazing energy to the pub, and I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better night.

My guests absolutely loved every minute, and I have to say, I loved every minute too! It’s nights like this that remind me why I love what I do and why live music is so special. Seeing everyone come together, have fun, and make memories is what it’s all about.

Thank you both so much you were absolutely brilliant, and it was a real pleasure to have you play in my pub.

I really, really hope this isn’t the last time we get to welcome you to the Creigiau Inn. I would absolutely love to have you back when you’re next visiting Cardiff, and I’m already looking forward to hopefully doing it all over again!

Cover Up were a real hit at my 50th birthday party. They have a huge range which was perfect for the occasion, and Paul’s voice is amazing.

Cover Up are an excellent Covers duo; versatile, talented and experienced in equal measure. Paul (vocals) and Mike (guitars) bring energy and gusto to everything from the Kinks to the Stones with a well thought out set list that spans up to 5 decades. Always professional and always fun, they will make your event the best of the season. Once we no longer have to cover up - go and see Cover Up.

I hired the Locals for my birthday party last Saturday and it was perfect. Paul was really helpful from the start, very reliable and easy to deal with. On the night, they were spot on. Great mix of music, got everyone dancing and I only wished we had had time for another set! Looking forward to planning another party to be able to book the Locals again!

Hired the locals for my 30th birthday party and couldn't be happier with them. I picked them as they have a great play list and were reasonably priced, however the locals went above and beyond and made the night.
They were so attentive to my wishes and so accommodating. The play list was so good it was hard to pick only 30 songs, and the band brought everything with them including lighting.
I would definitely recommend them and would love to hire them again in the future

I booked the locals for my sister in laws 30th birthday party. Paul was great with communication via email and planning for the event- always prompt in his responses and they delivered exactly what we were hoping for. The songs were brilliant, they created a great atmosphere and we had comments from guests about how good they were and how much they had enjoyed having a live band. The guys came to play at our wedding and they knocked it out of the park. Every song was a floor filler getting everyone moving on the dance floor. There was even some crowd surfing. Cheers guys!

I have to say these guys were highly professional to the 'core' from start to finish on and off the the stage, not the easiest gig for them - location difficult to find , power issues (not their fault) and a few over excited guests who fancied their chances on stage - all 'water off a ducks back for these chaps' - It is always good to see a band that can improvise , change things around a bit - they really got things going and would highly recommend them'
