Dahlia Music were a great addition to our wedding. Heather was very professional and gave timely responses to questions and requests, which is always helpful when there are lots of moving parts! Then on the day the string duo’s performance added a beautiful backdrop to our ceremony. Would highly recommend!

We booked Dahlia for our wedding in April and they were absolutely amazing! A string quartet is the only thing I was certain I wanted from the start and I’m so glad I found Dahlia. Heather made the process completely seamless and was so kind and helpful throughout.There was lots of tears as they played me down the aisle (which is what I wanted!). We booked Dahlia for our wedding and they were absolutely perfect. Heather was available for chats on zoom and on email to discuss our preferences. Dahlia played beautifully during our ceremony, we chose specific pieces, and even had one specially arranged for us. They liaised with our celebrant for music cues and for the reception we left the music choices to them.
Our guests thought they were wonderful, we just wish we’d got to hear more!

We were blessed with using this amazing string quartet for our wedding at Hilltop Country House. Everything about their service was top class. They were friendly and professional during all our correspondence, and really cared about getting the style of music that we wanted for our ceremony and reception. They were so accommodating of our requests, and then performed beautifully on the day. Hearing their rendition of canon in D just before my now-wife walked down the aisle, brought tears to my eyes, and the ceremony hadn't even started yet!

Dahlia Music performed at our wedding in May 2025. They performed for our church ceremony and at our reception and made the day so perfect. From our first contact the process was so smooth and Dahlia were able to play our requested songs for the ceremony and then played a selection of classics and pop hits for the reception. We couldn’t recommend Dahlia highly enough! Heather was so prompt and friendly with communication in the lead-up to our wedding, and incredibly accommodating with our requests. They played everything perfectly on the day and made the music feel so personal and special to us. Their repertoire was fabulous and it created such a lovely atmosphere during our drinks reception. Our only regret is that, as bride and groom, we didn’t have more time to sit and properly listen to them ourselves! Dahlia Music performed at our wedding. The music was very special for us, and our guests also commented how much they enjoyed the string quartet (including many guests who are not usually fans of classical music).

Dahlia were very organised in the run-up to the day, responding to our emails quickly. Their website was very helpful, but when we had questions they talked us through their repertoire. We asked for a few songs that they did not have in their existing repertoire -- no problem, they sourced the music and played it perfectly.

Dahlia were warm, friendly, and professional at all times. They arrived with plenty of time to set up, were very smartly dressed, and fit seamlessly into the day. We would recommend them to anyone who wants a very special addition to their wedding (or other event).

Thanks to Dahlia Music several of our guests described our wedding as having "Bridgerton Vibes", which we take as a massive compliment! As soon as we booked Dahlia they were in regular contact with us to ensure that everything was planned meticulously. The songs chosen for the ceremony were timed to perfection - even though we included our dog as the ringbearer and he was so excited that it took an extra 30 seconds to get the rings on his collar. Dahlia were also happy to include a new song in their repertoire, which meant a lot to some of our guests. They were professional throughout and many people commented on how much their music brought to the event. Dahlia Music absolutely made our day into everything we had imagined. The string quartet was unbelievable, it made all my hairs stand up the moment they started playing. Everyone commented on how fabulous they were and the vibe it created. For me, this was one of the best choices from our wedding day. Perfect from start to finish.

Dahlia music played at our wedding on 14th Sept 2019. They were brilliant!! I spoke with Heather on the phone who was very efficient and took time to listen to what we wanted. On the day our violinist was really keen to make sure he played what we wanted. All our guests complimented how well he played. I would 100% recommend them.

Wow, wow, wow! My father in law booked Dahlia Music for our wedding reception as a last minute booking as we'd be previously let down. There aren't enough words to describe how amazing they were. They played 'A thousand years' as I walked down the isle. The music was so beautiful as soon as I heard it I was in tears. They made our ceremony so special. They also played after the wedding whilst we were waiting for the room to be changed over. All our guests said how amazing they were. I couldn't recommend them highly enough!

Well, all I can say is WOW! The talented musicians that came and performed at our wedding at Selby Abbey yesterday left us all speechless with their talent and music. Every piece sounded fantastic and made my day so special.
