Dahlia Music absolutely made our day into everything we had imagined. The string quartet was unbelievable, it made all my hairs stand up the moment they started playing. Everyone commented on how fabulous they were and the vibe it created. For me, this was one of the best choices from our wedding day. Perfect from start to finish.

Thank you so much for playing at our wedding at Meols hall. The communication was easy and yet very professional. The music was beautiful and made the perfect atmosphere. So many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the combination of classical pop covers. Thank you again.

Fantastic communication, really quick to respond and easy to work with. They played for our wedding and created a wonderful atmosphere during the ceremony and drinks reception. Very professional and more importantly experienced and talented musicians! Couldn’t fault them at all.

I booked Dahlia group for a corporate dinner and they were fab! All the guests commented on how beautiful it was to have a live string quartet. They played such a great range of songs so brilliantly. Wow, wow, wow! My father in law booked Dahlia Music for our wedding reception as a last minute booking as we'd be previously let down. There aren't enough words to describe how amazing they were. They played 'A thousand years' as I walked down the isle. The music was so beautiful as soon as I heard it I was in tears. They made our ceremony so special. They also played after the wedding whilst we were waiting for the room to be changed over. All our guests said how amazing they were. I couldn't recommend them highly enough!

Dahlia were brilliant at our garden party and it was thrilling to hear so many favourite tunes played live. A real star turn.

Well, all I can say is WOW! The talented musicians that came and performed at our wedding at Selby Abbey yesterday left us all speechless with their talent and music. Every piece sounded fantastic and made my day so special.

Dahlia music played at our wedding on 14th Sept 2019. They were brilliant!! I spoke with Heather on the phone who was very efficient and took time to listen to what we wanted. On the day our violinist was really keen to make sure he played what we wanted. All our guests complimented how well he played. I would 100% recommend them.

Dahlia Music performed at our wedding. The music was very special for us, and our guests also commented how much they enjoyed the string quartet (including many guests who are not usually fans of classical music).

Dahlia were very organised in the run-up to the day, responding to our emails quickly. Their website was very helpful, but when we had questions they talked us through their repertoire. We asked for a few songs that they did not have in their existing repertoire -- no problem, they sourced the music and played it perfectly.

Dahlia were warm, friendly, and professional at all times. They arrived with plenty of time to set up, were very smartly dressed, and fit seamlessly into the day. We would recommend them to anyone who wants a very special addition to their wedding (or other event).

We couldn’t recommend Dahlia highly enough! Heather was so prompt and friendly with communication in the lead-up to our wedding, and incredibly accommodating with our requests. They played everything perfectly on the day and made the music feel so personal and special to us. Their repertoire was fabulous and it created such a lovely atmosphere during our drinks reception. Our only regret is that, as bride and groom, we didn’t have more time to sit and properly listen to them ourselves! Dahlia Music performed at our wedding in May 2025. They performed for our church ceremony and at our reception and made the day so perfect. From our first contact the process was so smooth and Dahlia were able to play our requested songs for the ceremony and then played a selection of classics and pop hits for the reception. We were blessed with using this amazing string quartet for our wedding at Hilltop Country House. Everything about their service was top class. They were friendly and professional during all our correspondence, and really cared about getting the style of music that we wanted for our ceremony and reception. They were so accommodating of our requests, and then performed beautifully on the day. Hearing their rendition of canon in D just before my now-wife walked down the aisle, brought tears to my eyes, and the ceremony hadn't even started yet!

We booked Dahlia for our wedding and they were absolutely perfect. Heather was available for chats on zoom and on email to discuss our preferences. Dahlia played beautifully during our ceremony, we chose specific pieces, and even had one specially arranged for us. They liaised with our celebrant for music cues and for the reception we left the music choices to them.
