I require one parking space close to the venue for unloading equipment. My set up is very compact but if louder music is required then I need a bigger space to allow me to set up further away from my PA System. Also 1 power outlet is required for the full PA system
Yes, I am completely self contained. I provide a PA system to all of my gigs and a lighting rig containing 2 flood lights and 2 disco lights. A battery powered PA system can be used on request before the booking if a performance is needed away from a power outlet.
I need to know any directions that will help me find the venue and find the right place to load in my equipment. I also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue and where power outlets are located in the performance area.
I have my own playlist that I can provide in between sets on request, choices of decades or genre can be requested.
Believe it or not, one of my best gigs was in a house party for a surprise 40th birthday. The setup was basic, but something about the intimacy, the singalongs, and the crowd’s warmth made it unforgettable. It reminded me that it’s not always about big venues — it’s about creating moments people remember
I've been most influenced by artists who balance raw honesty with melody — people like Damien Rice, John Mayer, and Ben Howard. They taught me the power of space, storytelling, and letting silence carry as much weight as sound.
My favourite artist is probably Blue October — their mix of soul, folk, rock, power and poetic depth hits something spiritual in me. The lead singer uses all of the stage as a performance area in a theatrical performance, and that's something I try to channel when I perform.
As for the greatest song of all time? I’d have to say “The Blower's Daughter” by Damien Rice. It’s timeless, powerful, and stripped back — just a voice, a story, and soul. The kind of song that reminds you what music can mean.
I started gigging after a parents dared me to get up at an open mic — I’d only ever played in my bedroom, but the buzz from that first crowd stuck. I started playing anywhere that would have me: pubs, birthdays, street corners. Over time, word spread and I started landing regular spots at local venues and private events.
Since then I’ve done everything from quiet Sunday sessions to rowdy Friday nights where keeping the crowd engaged is a full-time job. I’ve learned how to read a room, adapt on the fly, and make sure every set feels like more than just background music — even if that’s technically what I am!
I love playing at events where the energy’s high and people are there to let loose — birthdays, garden parties, or pub nights that turn into singalongs. I thrive when I can read the room and build a set that shifts from laid-back to full-on dancefloor by the end.
I bring more than just music — I bring the atmosphere. I show up early, I read the crowd, and I care about making your night unforgettable. Whether it’s a chill vibe or a rowdy party, I’ll deliver a set that fits — and probably leaves a few people saying, “Didn’t expect that from just a guy with a guitar.”
My typical setup takes around 30–45 minutes, depending on the space and access. I bring all my own gear, including PA, and can fit into both small and larger venues easily.
For performances, I usually do 2 x 45-minute sets or 3 x 30-minute sets, but I’m flexible — I can adjust timings to suit the flow of your event. Whether you need background acoustic vibes or a set that builds into a party atmosphere, I’ll work with you to get it just right.
I'm happy to play outside but I ask for shade, a flat level surface
I’ve got a tried-and-tested repertoire that works brilliantly across different events, but I always welcome input from clients. If there are specific songs you’d love included — whether it’s a first dance, a family favourite, or something that fits the vibe you’re going for — I’m happy to work those in.
I can also shape the set based on the mood you want — from relaxed background to full-on singalong. Ultimately, it’s your event, and I want the music to reflect you as much as it reflects what I do best.
I’ve had clients say things like, “You were the easiest part of the whole night to manage.” I take pride in being super professional, punctual, and easy to work with — so people know they’re getting a solid performance and zero stress.
I love putting unexpected songs into an acoustic setting — like giving ‘Dancing Queen’ or ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ a folky twist, or slowing down indie bangers to bring out the emotion. I mix crowd-pleasers with deep cuts that still get a reaction. It’s familiar but never predictable.
Every crowd is different — sometimes you’ve got 100 people singing, sometimes you’re background for a chill dinner. I pride myself on reading the room in real time and adjusting — dropping in upbeat tracks to lift energy, or holding back to let the vibe stay mellow. No ego, just service to the moment.
Absolutely — if I know it, I’ll play it. If not, I’ll do my best or find something close. It’s all part of the fun. I love when a night turns into a bit of a singalong session.
Yes — I bring a full professional PA system, lighting (if needed), and everything I need. All I need from you is a plug socket and a good crowd.
