Reviews of Disco Infernos

Finding a great band for a wedding is surprisingly excruciating and risky. We were planning our wedding during the pandemic, so we had to rely on online videos when searching for bands. We discovered very many high-priced function bands that look pretty, have excellent promotional videos and websites, but have absolutely no soul or no groove. We also had a few lucky escapes: such as certain bands failing to tell us that the very talented lead singer in their promotional video wouldn't be performing with the band, and a few of the bands we saw in pubs and bars demonstrating no idea how to set their PA system to enjoyable levels. Oh and did I mention some bands were requesting RIDICULOUS prices! However, for us it was so important to find a good band, as my new wife and I and many of our friends are dancers, and we wanted lots of people to dance at our wedding. I wrote a specific brief and had high standards, which meant I spent AAAAGGGGES searching and was mostly disappointed. But then somehow, I finally stumbled across Disco Infernos's videos. Oh - My - GOD! Prayers were answered and we hadn't even got to the church yet. They offered a few bands of different styles, sizes and repertoires - and for us Disco Infernos was the closest to what we wanted. Disco Infernos are also super adaptable, as whilst some of the performers we liked weren't available, we were offered a variety of other performers and could choose who we thought would work best for our occasion, and even the kind of outfits they could wear (although we weren't really fussy about that. What we wanted was a great band.) The standard of everyone we reviewed was very high, and when we wanted performers that could perform funk, soul, disco, jazz, R&B and pop within one performance we got them. I don't like the saxophone, so I asked for a trombone player instead. Done. We reviewed a variety of lead singers, and we chose Najwa, and we're so pleased we did. She gave a superstar performance with a personable, upbeat and still professional attitude, incorporating so many of our specific requests that we knew our guests would enjoy, and encouraging our guests to interact with her whilst she was on stage. Due to a delay caused in to the start of the meal, the band even accommodated a shorter mid-set break to keep the dancing and energy going through-out the reception. Not only did that ensure we continued having an excellent wedding party, it truly gave us value for money for our booking.

Guests loved the band. We loved the band. And the band seemed to love our wedding. All very important. We are very grateful to Rhona, Disco Infernos and when we have another occasion where we'd like a great function band, we'll first approach Disco Infernos.

They were fantastic, amazing, brilliant.... I would definately use Disco Infernos again and would hope to book the band Disco Infernos again as they were everything I had hoped they would be. Thank you so much for making my birthday celebration one to remember!

If you are looking to book a group to make your function memorable look no further than Disco Infernos. From the moment they started their playlist to the end of the evening everyone was dancing. The sheer energy of the group radiated into the guests at my daughters wedding. It was a perfect end to a perfect day. If you can, take the eight piece option, it was fabulous. Even the hotel staff confirmed they had not heard a band this good for a long while.

Thank you to Disco Infernos for helping to make my wedding the incredible day it was. One of my only individual responsibilities for the wedding was organising the music, so I felt a good deal of pressure to make sure it was right. Disco Infernos was impressive due to its range of quality artists to choose from, but while I cannot comment on other acts, I cannot speak highly enough of Disco Infernos. They were friendly and professional in the build up, but most importantly performed amazingly on the night. My major concern was keeping the dance floor full and having the energy high throughout the last few hours of the night. I think it would be fair to say the marquee was bursting with energy throughout, and I don't think I've ever seen a fuller dance floor at a wedding. I am so pleased that I booked the extra sax and trumpet, and that the band played mainly the soul/motown and disco/funk parts of their repertoire. It meant that everyone was up dancing from 20 year olds to the bride's 91 year old Grandma. They even let a friend of mine butcher 'Wonderful Tonight' during their break! Really couldn't have been better in any way, other than an extra 3 hours dancing! 5 stars.

Just wanted to drop you a line to say a BIG thank you to you and the band for a very special evening. We had a great party, and so many compliments on what a fabulous band !! The music was superb.

Disco Infernos were very talented performers. They showed energy and looked like they were having fun which rubbed off on the audience. They did a great job of merging songs so as to maintain momentum on the dance floor.

We were so impressed with your band at our wedding on 13th June. You created the perfect atmosphere for us all and sounded awesome! We have had so many compliments on the band, your talent and your professionalism from our guests. If the opportunity arises we will definitely seriously consider booking Disco Infernos again

Disco Infernos really did keep the party going and the dance floor filled all night. I loved the Jazz section very much too and our first dance was sung and played so perfectly! There are so many happy memories of everyone dancing away to your music!

We booked Disco Infernos for our joint 40th Birthday party. They nailed the performance, getting everyone dancing with a great range of songs. From a party host’s perspective, they were also really accommodating with their set times and approach - the venue messed up the food timings and they adjusted their sets to compensate. Very happy.
