About / Biography

I’ve been fortunate to spend over twenty years doing what I love most – playing guitar, piano, and singing for people at some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. From small, intimate gatherings to private parties and grand weddings, I’ve had the privilege of creating music that helps bring people together.

With based between London, Cornwall, and Manchester, I travel across the UK to work with couples, hotels, restaurants, and event professionals, always aiming to add something personal and memorable to each occasion.

Over the years, I’ve experienced some truly special moments, from surprising newlyweds with a song performed by their flower girls and page boys, to leading over 300 guests in heartfelt worship at a wedding ceremony, and even keeping the party alive until the early hours at an 18th birthday party.

What matters most to me is understanding the atmosphere my clients want to create. Every event is unique, and I take pride in listening closely so I can shape the music to fit seamlessly with their vision. My hope is always to leave people not just with a performance, but with lasting memories.

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

My acoustics guitar, stage piano and column PA is compact so need 2m x 2m at most. I do have a portable power station which can be used for outside events and venues.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

I have a column PA system which works for all venues. Lighting is not something I provide

What information do you require about a venue?

Parking location needed

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I am more than happy for my column PA to used before and after for Spotify/bluetooth music.

Do I have to provide a piano?

I have a professional stage piano that I bring to all gigs even if there is a piano in place. This is just in case the piano in place isn’t in tune, or potentially older and not in great condition.

Do you have a PA system?

I have a column PA system that I bring with me.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

Most memorable would be an 18th birthday party at a large house in Cheshire, with 40 plus guests all singing along to the Beatles, Coldplay and Oasis into the early hours of the morning.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Early influences include Michael Jackson, Gloria Estafan, The Beatles and Elvis. Latterly I am influenced by contemporary artists from Dua Lipa to Sabrina Carpenter, 30 Seconds to Mars and Coldplay. Greatest song ever is very difficult but absolutely love Baker Street.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I have been involved in music, playing as part of a church/worship band for 30 years. I started playing privately for weddings 20 years ago and started gigging 2 years ago.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

Weddings are a definite favourite but also love private parties. I love working with clients/couples to curate the perfect playlist for their celebrations and love learning new music along the way as part of the process.

Do you have a set play list or can we request songs?

I tailor set lists to each and every event. They are based on my clients favourite songs, artists etc and I also do special song requests.

What time will you arrive?

I try to be at the venue at least one hour before performing to set up, sound check, and get my glad rags on.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

This is all dependent on event. My kit is quick and easy to set up (maybe 30 minutes at the most) and I am usually very flexible about performance times. The norm for me is between 2 and 3 hours performance time with a break.

Are you happy to perform outside?

More than happy to perform outside based on the weather but if sunny need a shaded area.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Every event I have performed for has been different, even pub gigs. I curate set lists based on clients preferences, artists and songs, or when it comes to pubs/bars demographic (age of customers) often impacts the set list.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients have described my performances as a mix of rousing (pub sing along) to sensitive (weddings). Most importantly (IMO), professional.
