Ebor Quartet played at our wedding last weekend at The Grand Hotel in York. They played for both our ceremony and cocktail hour and were absolutely stunning from start to finish. So many of our guests commented on their performance & our little 2 year old nephew couldn't get enough of them - applauding each time they finished a song! They really added that magical sparkle one wants at a wedding.

Ebor were recommended by our venue and I can see why. From the moment we booked them, Conor was helpful and communicative via email, and easily adapted to any requests we had. We decided fairly late on in the planning process to extend cocktail hour out a little longer to ensure myself and my new husband would be able to enjoy time with our guests and Conor quickly assured me they'd be able to stay for the extended time & enabled us to make an extra payment for the added time.

They honoured all requests we had when it came to song choices (eg: My Girl for the aisle walk, and we wanted Vivaldi's Spring to open cocktail hour but were otherwise flexible on the order of our chosen songs) They also provided a bit of guidance where relevant - helpful when one doesn't book these sorts of things on a regular basis!

Overall - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ebor - if you're thinking about booking them, go for it ✨️ Our guests are still talking about them! 💙

Since seeing Ebor at the York Manor House for a Bridgeton event we knew instantly that we wanted them to play at our wedding. For our playlist we chose an eclectic mix of music from Ebor's repertoire; pop, 80's, 00's pop-punk, you get the gist. Ebor were really accommodating with chopping and changing songs on the set list, and also allow for a few special requests that were able to be played. As we are huge Greatest Showman fans, Ebor went above and beyond to help our dreams come true and they sourced and learnt some songs for us... I got to walk down the aisle to The Greatest Show which was sooo much fun!!! and sounded soooo good!!! It was epic!

Really enjoyed having Ebor on our special day and it was appreciated by all our guests. The acoustics worked perfectly meaning Ebor could be heard inside and outside. Really friendly and talented group.

Thankyou so much for making our day so special. We cant wait to come to another of your events.

I hired Ebor String Quartet (or trio in my case!) for my wedding and they were everything I could have hoped for and more. From the moment I messaged for a quote, Conor has been fantastic at communicating with me. With every single detail down to my last minute panic about the length of my aisle song on the morning of the wedding, they made me feel confident in them always.
As I said to Conor, the one thing I’ve known I’ve always wanted for my wedding day was strings playing me down the aisle. Ebor Strings knocked it out of the park and I couldn’t be happier.
A special thank you to the group for the very brief moment I had when the guests were gathering for the confetti shot, and they played Charli xcx Speed Drive for me (a song that I practically squealed at when I saw it in their repertoire). It was a moment where I really got to enjoy the music and myself, and was truly a highlight of my day.

These guys played at our wedding recently and their music made it extra special. They played one of my favourite songs (aisle song) so beautifully! Our ceremony and drinks reception wouldn’t have been the same without them. If you are looking for a string quartet, then I would thoroughly recommend Ebor! There were so many compliments from guests on how amazing they were!

Conor replied promptly to my enquiry and I found their prices very reasonable especially as they played in two venues for our Wedding (church and reception venue).

We had Ebor Quartet perform during our wedding ceremony and drinks reception, they were perfect and everyone still keeps talking about how great the music was! They were great to work with beforehand and help plan what music we wanted. We managed to get a mix of Indie/pop songs that meant a lot to us so that the ceremony felt really personal. We booked Ebor String Quartet for our wedding at very short notice, and they were absolutely fantastic. Conor was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and we appreciated being able to agree on a price that suited our budget and needs.

Despite having another booking on the same day, they still fitted us in and performed beautifully for two hours, including our first dance song, “Perfect”, which was truly magical. Our guests are still talking about them. Highly recommended!

Communication with Ebor and Conor in particular has been fantastic in the build up to the wedding. What a fantastic team of talented musicians!!

Both me and Rob want to say a BIG thank you to the team for being there on Saturday. It was absolutely beautiful and definitely made the atmosphere in the church (lots of tears were had!!) lots of our guests said how beautiful it was. We even had compliments from local villagers too who heard the music at the village hall which was lovely!!

We hired Ebor String Quartet to play for our guest arrival and wedding ceremony at Thirsk Lodge Barns and they were absolutely fantastic! Conor, who was my main point of contact, was super helpful and responsive to all of my questions, and Emily, who picked up things whilst Conor was away just as lovely and responsive. The quartet played beautifully and all of our guests commented on what a nice touch having live string music was for their arrival and during the ceremony itself. Would absolutely recommend!

Ebor was a pleasure to work with in the run-up to and at our Wedding this June, and helped make our day so special. Conor was fantastic at answering our questions by email and on the phone, and helping us to make song choices. The ladies who played at the ceremony and reception did so beautifully. I'm only sorry that we didn't get the headspace on the day to listen to them more! Thank you!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Ebor play at our wedding ceremony and reception, and we feel so lucky to have had them as part of our big day. They went above and beyond to make everything so special. They accommodated all of our choices, learned new songs just for us (I started crying the moment they began playing my entrance song!), and created the perfect atmosphere for our reception.

Ebor even recorded our first dance song after we couldn’t find a version that felt right, which was such a thoughtful touch and we will forever be grateful that they helped to make it so special.

Not only are they excellent musicians but right from the beginning, Conor and the team made the planning seamless and nothing was too much to ask. The Ebor Quartet was one of the highlights of our wedding day! They arrived on time and were professional but lovely throughout their 3 hour booking. We were able to request 3 songs for them to learn for our ceremony, and we asked them to play their pop repertoire during the drinks reception. They played everything beautifully and were complimented by all of our guests! Before the wedding, the main email contact was Conor who was hugely helpful, responsive and clear with his answers to our questions. This quartet is a must-have for any event!

It's hard to describe just how fantastic this Quartet is- communication was perfect and the personalisation throughout the day meant that our wedding was made so much more special thanks to this group. I would 100% recommend the Ebor quartet. They played at our wedding at sledmere house and made special moments even more memorable with renditions of our favourite songs. We booked The Ebor Quartet for our original wedding date- June 6 2020. Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone four times. With each change, our contact, Conor, could not have been more understanding, accommodating and was always so quick to respond which, when you are trying to rearrange a wedding in a day, was hugely appreciated! He always had kind words and said nothing was a problem although we know it took a lot of rearranging on his part. Their playlist is excellent- a great mix of classic and modern to choose from. I asked for some from the list and also for some specific songs that weren’t from the list. They took the time to produce the arrangements (some very complicated) and sent them through to make sure we were happy with everything- and they exceeded all expectations. On the day everyone said how amazing the music was, it really made the service and created a lovely atmosphere for the ceremony. It was very special. When looking for all suppliers, it is important to consider the fact that they will become a part of your wedding. Not only are The Ebor Quartet incredibly talented but they were a great support, fun, enthusiastic, they took on all of our requests and I honestly couldn’t be happier that they were a part of our wedding day
