With over 10 years working as a session pianist, I have been lucky enough to perform with some amazing artists and tour across Europe with various bands. I have played across London in Jazz clubs including the Vortex, the 606 and Ronnie Scott's. Though I was trained in classical and eventually Jazz, I pride myself in being able to fit the style of my playing towards any event and request.
I love to work with clients, whether they be artists or someone looking for entertainment, to cater the way I play to fit their specific needs and I take great satisfaction in working with someone and finding out exactly how I can fulfil their requirements of me.

I need a small space to set up my keyboard and amplifier. I need access to a 1 13 amp power socket. I will also need space for parking, but this may change depending on the location.
I provide my own PA, I do not provide lighting.
The directions and where best to load in, as well as what, if any, parking is available.
I can if asked.
I will supply all the equipment necessary for the performance if there is no piano at the venue.
My top gigs I have performed at would have to include Majorca Live Festival, The Union Jack club in London, Electric Cinema in Notting Hill, and finally I have had the pleasure of playing for the military at officer events at Larkhill and Tidworth. Some of these have been with a band and in some I have provided entertainment during dinner and cocktails.
Bill Evans, Keith Jarret, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, E.S.T, Pink Floyd. My current favourite song is Peris scope by Bill Evans.
I have been playing in the London Jazz scene for going on and in the east London Psychedelic rock scene for about 10 years. I started gigging alongside my studies at university and realised I loved to perform and learn new music for specific events.
I love all sorts, but my favourite would have to be for dinner or cocktail parties where I can provide the perfect background to conversation. I find having a piano playing in the background puts guests more at ease to chat freely with each other.
I will always aim to arrive at least 2 hours before I am needed to play to introduce myself and set up. I only usually need at most 30 minutes to set up, but I prefer to be early to account for any changes of plan and to properly introduce myself.
Very happy as long as there is cover for the electrical equipment if there is rain, a flat surface and access to a power source.
I am very happy to learn specific songs for each event. In the past I have performed covers of rock songs to Bhangra at the clients' request. I usually limit this to 3-5 songs but I will always send a set list ahead of the event to be approved by the client.
I have been described as professional, friendly and accommodating. My playing to be sophisticated and the perfect cherry on top of an evening.
Absolutely, I am happy to change the set depending on your preferences. As long as I am given enough notice (a week) I can learn specific songs for your event.
