From the moment we first reached out to Ellen, we knew we were in safe hands. Her communication was prompt, warm, and incredibly professional, and it was clear right away that she genuinely cared about making our wedding day as perfect as it could be. Nothing was ever too much trouble; even the smallest questions or requests were met with kindness, patience, and enthusiasm.

Ellen’s professionalism and expertise stood out from the very beginning. She guided us through our song choices and helped us select the perfect pieces for the key moments throughout the day. She was incredibly organised, yet so easygoing and relaxed, which made working with her such a pleasure. She truly took all the stress out of this part of the planning and brought a wonderful calm energy that we deeply appreciated in the lead-up to the big day.

We already knew Ellen had a beautiful voice; we’d listened to recordings and seen clips online but hearing her perform in person was something else entirely. Her voice is simply breathtaking, and the emotion she brings to every note made each moment feel even more special. She added such a magical, heartfelt presence to our ceremony and reception that it’s hard to put into words just how much it meant to us.

Ellen was warm, friendly, and genuinely excited to be part of our day. She felt more like a friend than a supplier, and we’re so grateful for the kindness and warmth she showed; not only to us but to all of our guests as well.
Speaking of our guests; they couldn’t stop talking about her! Everyone was absolutely blown away by her voice, her energy, and the atmosphere she created. We had so many people come up to us to say how incredible she was, and several even asked for her details for future events. She was, without a doubt, one of the most talked-about and loved parts of our day.
One moment that really stands out was a last-minute change we made to our song list. With very little time, Ellen learned it and performed it beautifully as though it had been part of her repertoire for years. That small act meant the world to us, and we’ll never forget it. (Please don’t put the same stress on her though! 😂)

Ellen has such an amazing and beautiful voice, her communications prior to our event were brilliant, we had a online call and she offered to learn and sing our favourite song, she kept my secret which was that it wasn't just a 50th birthday party but I had planned to propose to my girlfriend in front of our family and friends. She was there when I needed her to pass me the microphone, and my now fiancee absolutely loved our special day and of course she said yes! She travelled all the way to chester. Ellen performed two 45-minute sets, singing and playing acoustic guitar beautifully. Ellen arrived in plenty of time to get everything set up, and I even got to enjoy a bit of her sound check before the guests arrived—it was such a treat and confirmed just how talented she is. During her sets, she received plenty of well-deserved applause from our friends and family, who all commented on how much they enjoyed her performance.

Ellen was truly fantastic. She sang at my 50th birthday and the audience were blown away. She was friendly and warm and had great presence. She was flexible about her playlist and added a last minute ask for me. She played at my garden party and the neighbours thought it was the radio!! Ellen sang at our wedding for the ceremony & drinks reception and was absolutely wonderful! Once we booked Ellen she was so helpful in understanding what we wanted and even learnt some songs that we had really wanted included. On the day, we had run late which meant Ellen had to sing for longer than planned but she couldn’t have been more gracious! Put simply, Ellen was incredible and we would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to hire a guitarist. We had to hire Ellen fairly last minute due to our original guitarist being injured, but as soon as we got into contact we knew we were in safe hands. Ellen was quick to respond, incredibly accommodating (learning two song requests with less than two weeks notice!) and made the whole day seamless. She listened to our preferences and made sure the set list was perfect for us on our wedding day. All of our guests commented on what an incredible performer Ellen was and she really did make the day special. Even the DJ we hired for the evening commented on what an incredible performer Ellen was, and he was particularly impressed with her rendition of Creep by Radiohead. It’s fair to say we were blown away with Ellen as were our guests. We cannot recommend Ellen enough!!

Ellen was our wedding singer during our reception drinks on 5th September 2025. We booked Ellen through encore musicians and as soon as we came across Ellen, we knew we couldn't hesitate with booking with her straight away. Ellen is probably the nicest wedding musician you will come across, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with Ellen whether through emails or zoom calls always super friendly, always checking in, making sure everything is in place and we didn't have to think about anything, Ellen made sure the day was smooth and even learnt 3 songs of our choice. Ellen has the ABSOLUTE best voice and is super talented - we had many comments from our guests during their time getting drinks at the bar at how amazing she sounded.
