Ellen can perform in a variety of musical styles, encompassing smooth jazz tones from the likes of Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald, to soulful classics from Etta James and Otis Reading, to more contemporary popular music from Adele, Ed Sheeran and Amy Winehouse.
Short Biography
Ellen studied Jazz vocals at Leeds Conservatoire and graduated in 2019, and is now studying a masters at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Since graduating from Leeds Conservatoire, Ellen has been working as a professional vocalist around the UK. Some performance highlights include BBC Proms at The Albert Hall 2016, Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival, Glasgow Jazz Festival and performances with the Guildhall Studio Orchestra. She has performed alongside renowned UK artists such as vocalist Liane Carroll, saxophonist Iain Ballamy and beatboxer/vocalist Jason Singh.
