Aw I could be here all day answering this question... but, I was highly influenced with Motown and Soul growing up. Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley, Ottis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Whitney Houston sprinkled with a little RnB like Destinys Child, Boyz II Men, Mariah, Christina, Jazmine Sulivan, Toni Braxton anthing 80s/90s really then add a splash of Black Box, CeCe Pennison and Yazz... ending on my fascination with the best singers of all time GOSPEL SINGERS!

I have been in the music industry professionally for 18 years. Believe it or not I always had thee WORST stage fright! But, this was always more of a purpose for me than an ego trip. Against ALL odds this has became so much more than I ever thought it would be.

I was working with Wet Wet Wet producers when I was 14/15 and upcoming bands, mainly spent my earlier years in the studio or in choirs hiding at the back. Then my music teacher heard me singing by chance on my own and he stopped the lessons and got all the teachers out to hear me- lets just say he wasn't amused at it being two days left of 6th year highschool ha! He didn't understand why I never came forward earlier but, I was so shy.

Since then, I have gained a Masters from one of the top music schools in the world, played countless incredible weddings, played lead in Sister Act: Musical, branched out into Dubai and Europe for destination weddings/events and been flown as far as the MALDIVES to sing!

Honestly, I love playing a variety of events especially corporate award events but, my personal fave has to be weddings because its sacred that trust between myself and the wedding couple. Something I would never take lightly and example of how far I go for my clients- event when I moved to Dubai I flew back 18x on my own dime to honour them. Because instead of cancelling I felt honour was important. I would never let a client down and have maintained a stellar reputation over many years.

Some clients just prefer seeing what the packages include and enjoy the freedom of them then others are far more specific and creative- I like to give them the space to co create an incredible show. Bringing your vision to LIFE!

Emma usually performs 2x 45 mins but, it all depends on the package or service booked. She is also booked for guest spots at awards, hosting, Vow coaching...

Emma has her own Full PA System (self contained) however, larger scaled events and weddings will need to have their own external lighting, sound and staging crew which Emma will easily plug into. ie an Arena, Venue needs to have an external crew - Emma is only one person so she would not be able to provide a Ballroom/club setup for instance

Food and Drink if possible but, minimum would be soft drinks and water*

Yes but, Emma will need shade if a hot climate, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the stage. If cold climate some kind of heater/ cover for equipment insurance reasons.

No Emma is very into creative collaboration when creating the setlist however, she wouldn't have a client dictate her performance or material word for word. Please keep in mind Emma Ochia is an incredibly experienced and seasoned vocalist, you want to take FULL ADVANTAGE of her wealth of skill and knowledge in this industry. She also in your consultation call will always help or offer advice on supplier ideas etc to make sure you have the best experience from booking to seeing her live at your big event!
