Reviews of Firefly

It’s not every day you are 50, so having a chance to celebrate with friends & family you want a night to remember and the choice of band is a big part of the event. Having found Firefly on this site, I hoped the choice was a good one, and having heard how good even their sound check was, I knew straight away it was.
The band were amazing with a great mix of music to keep us dancing all night, I would highly recommend them to anyone, and the saxophone makes it extra special.
Good luck to Suzy & the band , and hope to hire you again in the future.

Again I would like to thank you and the rest of the band for playing such a big role in ensuring our wedding was enjoyed by everyone. So many of our guests paid complement to the music and atmosphere that was being experienced (although let’s just say there were some very tired individuals by morning).

We wanted to thank you and the rest of the band for an amazing night of music!! Your rendition of September for our first dance was perfect, sounded great and was so much fun to dance to, as we'd hoped it would be! Everyone loved the music and I barely left the dancefloor all night so by the time the clock struck twelve and you unfortunately had to stop I was sad, but my feet weren't!! I'm sorry it has taken me so long to write - I cant believe how quickly time has flown. I wanted to thank you and the band for your wonderful performance at our wedding on 23rd March. We had such a great day and the band (and jazz pianist) were just perfect. I hope that you all had a fun evening too.

Thank you also to your lovely drummer for donating his drumsticks to my extremely keen little cousin Louie - as you could probably tell, he is determined he will be a drummer when he grows up and the gift made him just about burst with excitement! It was very generous.

I am sorry that I have not dropped you a line before but I have been very busy catching up on things I neglected in the run up to the Standish evening.

Just to say thanks to you and all the band for helping to make a great evening. Compliments from residents and friends, on the evening as a whole and the band in particular, have been universal. It was wonderful to see the community have such a good time and for the event to be so inclusive for all age groups. In addition we made @£1,000 for the Church so not bad for a first attempt.

Work hard, play hard is definitely a philosophy that most Army officers subscribe to – I hope we didn’t offend!

Thank you for making the night very very enjoyable. The band all round was first class and I have heard some positive comments from everyone I have spoken to. I will share these thoughts with other members of the Army who are looking for a willing, positive and excellent band to grace their regimental or seasonal gatherings.
