I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Gavin for performing at Reed Cricket Club’s 70th Anniversary Dinner on Friday.
Gavin was fantastic, and we’ve had so many positive comments about his performance. The atmosphere he created really helped make the evening such a success.
We also thankful to Gavin for staying on and performing the extra set when we asked. It was greatly appreciated and rounded off the evening perfectly.
It was a pleasure having Gavin perform with us, being part of such a special celebration and would book him again for any future club event.

I honestly believe how amazing Gavin was. We hired him for our dad's wake (bleak I know but it was my dad) and he honestly lit up the room. Everyone said how amazing he was and he truly was. The mix of music and the way he read the room was incredible. I will be considering him for every event that I do. If you haven't booked him yet. Book him. Thank you again Gavin for making our dad's day so special.

I had Gavin perform at my 60th party last night and he was amazing, very talented and a superb voice. Three hours of great music from start to finish, the party goers were all raving about how good he was and didn’t want him to stop.
I would definitely book him again.

Gavin performed at my fathers 90th birthday. We had family of all ages there. Gavin’s music was perfect to dance and sing a long too. We would highly recommend Gavin for any gathering you will not be disappointed. Thank you Gavin once again we had the best time.

Cannot recommend Gavin enough. Amazing singer who made my husbands birthday a truly amazing day. He covered a wide range of songs to keep us all entertained. He had us up dancing and was so good we paid him for an additional hour as we didn’t want him to leave!

Gavin is a great entertainer. He listened to what we wanted and everyone loved him. We booked him for my nan’s 100th birthday party. We requested sing a long pub songs and the crowd loved him.

Well what can I say Gavin was amazing!!!! He was so easy to book with requests. Gavin is very professional, he played during a meal and every one off my guest commented on how good the music was! I booked Gavin for my 65th plus retirement plus wedding anniversary party and he was brilliant, what a talent. He did 3 x 40 minute sessions, starting as just background music as requested and had people dancing in the aisles by his third session. Can highly recommend Gavin and wouldn't hesitate to book him again myself. Thanks for a first class performance Gavin, the party wouldn't have been the same without you.

Another great evening in the pavilion. The feedback from villagers who had not seen him before was 100% positive. They could not believe that it was only him and not a full band they were listening to, which is what you get. His performances never fail to entertain and get people dancing and singing along. I will be booking him again next year.

Having seen Gavin play at a party at a local cricket club I booked him to play at a 60th birthday party. He was very easy to deal with, turned up in plenty of time to set up, and gave us a great evening. I asked him to start off with background music while we ate, then to get everybody dancing. He got it exactly right and was a major part of us having a really good night. He is also a very pleasant person and seems to enjoy the fact that we all enjoyed his performance. Very happy to recommend him.

Gavin played a small party at our residential home, our residents had a really great time they enjoyed the music and singing, and our residents also enjoyed the interaction from Gavin. We thoroughly enjoyed our 70th Birthday Party. Gavin sang quietly during dinner many of our favourite 60's songs and later everyone was on the dance floor. We had so many good comments from our friends and many asked where we had found such a good entertainer. Thank you Gavin for making our 70th Birthday Party such a success and it will go down as a very happy memorable evening.

Gavin is a fantastic musician with a tremendous vocal range and repertoire. He may not look like Neil Diamond or Johnny Cash but he sounds just like them when singing their songs, and all the other great pop and rock classics. His laptop contains full backing tracks to all the hit songs he performs so he literally is a one man band. As I requested, he added some of my own favourites such as the Chuck Berry classic Carol, and Love Hurts by the Everly Brothers, which are great to dance to, but give him a couple of weeks notice as some of these older and more obscure ones are difficult to track down. He can also do anything more modern for the younger generation and I cannot recommend him highly enough. All my guests were amazed that such a talented performer lived just a few miles away, and they had a great time singing along to rock anthems like Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond and I Would Walk 500 Miles by the Proclaimers. My party was held in the village cricket pavilion, which is quite small, but he did not take up much room or play too loud. All he needs is a mains socket and our Social Secretary is planning to get him back sometime soon. He was great and he made the party a great success . You will not find anyone better. 24/9/2016

Gavin was incredibly professional and a fantastic entertainmenter at our party. With over 25 guests set up outside Gavin went over and above to play a three hour set for us. His voice was fantastic, songs brilliant and everyone raved over his performance . He played more chilled and relaxed songs over dinner and dance hits when the party ramped up. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gavin to anyone as a artist for any event, parties,weddings etc . Thank you Gavin for providing such wonderful entertainment !!

Gavin performed for mums birthday. He was very flexible and managed to provide something for everyone, sixties and seventies classics, some modern day party songs and even some Irish favourites. It was a fab night and I thoroughly recommend Gavin for your party. He brought along disco lights to enhance the mood and was a fabulous singer.

This was Gavin's Sunday Night debut and his first using backing tracks and he was simply fantastic. After doing a well received acoustic set at the Hightown Club for a special St. George's Day night, I asked if he could come back for another gig this time using backing tracks.
Gavin got to work and over the months built up a great set list of songs both old and new and took to The Hightown Stage. Always the professional Gavin arrives in good time to do a proper sound check something a lot of acts could learn from. Once Gavin started the compliments came thick and fast with the Sunday Night Crowd complimenting his song choices the quality of the sound and of course his versatile voice. A fantastic debut that not only earned him a Saturday Night Gig but also a Christmas Eve booking for 2016 well done.

Gavin performed at our recent wedding and was truely fantastic! He is easy to work with and had clearly worked hard on the arrangement which was truely awesome! I have no reservation in recommending him!! We had just over 100 guests who loved the performance he did for us - many thanks Gavin!! Paul & Tania

Eager to please and delivers! This was Gavin's first gig at The Hightown and, to be fair, a bit of a tricky one. For our St. George's Celebration Night we required an act that could not only please the crowd with an interesting and varied set list, but that could also confidently include some traditional patriotic songs to set the right tone for our themed event. Given Gavin's act is wholly acoustic, this presented something of a challenge, but any fears I had were laid to rest as Mr Clarke delivered his own arrangements of songs like "Land of Hope & Glory" and "There Will Always Be An England" along with an assortment of others that really entered into the flag-waving spirit of things splendidly!
Managing to win over the enthusiasm of a crowd more used to a heavy drum beat and driving bass line to get them going is no mean feat and Gavin's skill in putting together and serving up a programme that successfully catered for all our needs, without reproducing songs already done to death, was evidenced by people thoroughly enjoying themselves and taking to the dance floor. It's this ability to deliver that won him two further appreciative bookings with us!
With a level of skill in guitar playing that is something to behold, Gavin's excellent vocal performance also deserves high praise, so if you are looking to engage the services of a fine vocalist, a fluent guitarist and a heck of a nice guy with bags of talent, you could do your venue or party a massive service and book Gavin for yourselves.

I hired Gavin for my 40th birthday party and I have to say he was amazing. His play list was varied covering 1960s to the present day. He was upbeat and got the whole crowd dancing. He was professional but also personable. I can not fault him and would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Gavin. X

Just like to say thank to Gavin for performing such a late but very memorable gig for my 60th Birthday celebration. He was asked to play an after party at my house in St Albans starting past midnight! Never seeing Gavin perform live before, I was impressed with his Youtube video and Mp3s.
We we not were not sure what to expect and my guests and I were all knocked out with his great singing, stage presence and quality of songs choices!
Despite being asked to play to 3am, nothing was too much trouble and he was very accommodating with our requests.
You have won over some new fans Gavin!

Gavin played at my 50th party and was excellent, catered for all the age groups and did a great job.

Gavin answered the call at the last minute to play for my wife's surprise 50th Birthday party back in March.
All we can say is he was amazing!!!
We had friends and family young and old turn up. So it was always going to be a challenged to keep everyone happy. But Gavin handled it perfectly!!
He has a great voice, and picked all the right songs for the occasion!
By the end of the night, everyone was up singing and dancing in what was a truly unforgettable night!
Can't wait for him to come up again to hear him sing!!
