Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

In my days working on cruise ships I used to do a Beatles show in an intimate theater setting to around 300 people once per week, this was always a highlight for me

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

My favourite eras are the 60s-70s, 90s Britpop and 00s Indie and favourite artists are The Beatles, The Stone Roses, Oasis, Cast, The La's, Bob Dylan

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started gigging at around 19 and within 6 months I was performing as a professional up and down the Costa Del Sol, since then I have worked in many countries, living in Portugal, Spain, Dubai, Turkey, Italy, Egypt, Malaysia, Sri Lanka along the way and recently moved back to the UK after almost 15 years living abroad, performing all over the world and often on cruise ships

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

General set up time is around 30 minutes before performance

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes I'm happy to perform outside during the warmer months. Willing to perform outside during the festive season also provided that the area is safe and covered in case of rain and it is heated

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Within reason yes, though I'd advise that I am an experienced professional and often when a client wants to decide the set list it doesn't resonate with the rest of the audience. I usually prefer to be given a guide to work with than to choose specific set lists
