Simply Brilliant. We chose George to play at our ceremony and reception because we wanted something a little different and personal. Rather than just the usual piped music, to have someone who can interact with the service and timings was fantastic. He was totally flexible to our wishes and is a brilliant pianist and guitarist. He played our chosen wedding song exactly how we wanted it and all our guests commented on what a great singer he was. For the price of a wedding cake which no one remembers you can have your own personal singer for your big day. Cannot recommend enough. Susan and Roger Farran

George did an absolutely phenomenal job of the music at our wedding. His acoustic sets were perfect and his version of our first dance song was magical! Highly recommend!!!!

We are an Irish couple living in Australia and got in touch with George to perform at our Santorini Wedding. From that moment onwards, George has been nothing but a dream to work with! Logistically the wedding was a challenge, but George made the entertainment planning the smoothest part of our entire wedding. He is super professional and does his very best to make the whole process as easy and stress-free as possible, bending over backwards to do all he can. On the day, he blew us away. Him and his percussionist George were fantastic and covered everything from ceremony to reception and party afterwards. They were both superb and from walking down the aisle to the final dance, they had everyone singing their praises. George even learnt a bespoke song to walk down the aisle to, and his version had everyone (including me) in tears! Do not hesitate to book George, you won't regret it.

George was absolutely amazing. We had heard him at a wedding fayre at Prestwold Hall and were blown away instantly! We approached him and asked him if he could sing some 'unique' songs and he literally did more for us than we could've ever dreamed of! So many of our guests said he needs should be famous with the voice he's got! Would 100000% recommend him to anybody for any event! Rosie & George x

George performed at our wedding on 29th June. He sang during our ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast. His voice is so beautiful it created a wonderful atmosphere, all of our guests commented how amazing he was, they were clapping him during our wedding breakfast he was that good! Don’t hesitate to book, he is literally AMAZING! From initial contact, right up the to day communication was excellent, George got back to me so quickly with any questions I had, he also sent a final check in email to confirm all final timings and details a few days before the wedding. Not only is George so talented, he’s also a really lovely guy. Thank you so much George, you made our wedding day extra special! We are already wanting to find an excuse to book you again!!

George performed at our wedding in Newcastle and was an all round great guy. He was very helpful during the planning and organising of our wedding music and ensured we had no worries or concerns with any aspect of music during our wedding. I would highly recommend George Simpson. He is professional, hard working and very talented. The service he provided before the wedding was first class- nothing was too much trouble. He adapted a song to perform an acoustic version for our first dance. We loved it. He also provided an awesome disco which the guests loved. We have seen George sing at various venues, gigs, weddings and think he is brilliant at what he does.

George was absolutely brilliant at our wedding and was a pleasure to work with throughout. I cannot rate him highly enough and wish I had another event to invite him to perform at!

George’s music ranks amongst my all time favourite live acoustic music ever! His talent matches his personality, too! He was a joy to coordinate with before our wedding and he created the exact vibe we hoped for during our reception drinks. Such a pleasure to listen to! Our guests absolutely loved listening to him as well. I only wish WE, the bride and groom, could have sat down on the grass in front of him and listened to his entire set - every minute - from start to finish!! George sang for us on our wedding day at Fen Farm and was absolutely brilliant, his voice is fantastic and everyone commented on how good he was. I can thoroughly recommend George Simpson to anyone looking to give their wedding that extra bit of sparkle.

George played the Summer Ball at RAF Waddington at the end of June 2019. He played some solo sets as well as joining with bandmates Graham and Phil as 'Maslow' to deliver two absolutely huge sets. He delivered songs from 'The Greatest Showman' which was our theme for the event, as well as range of hits and they DJ'd between sets and put on a disco till 2am, entertaining 500 guests for 7 hours! The feedback from the attendees was brilliant with everyone saying how great they were. George was really flexible, easy to work with and communicated well all through the booking process. A consummate professional, I thoroughly recommend George Simpson music for any event.

I would like to say a massive thank you to George for a beautiful gift for my husband to be's 30th birthday. We was meant to get married on 10th April with George being our wedding singer which we have had to postpone and changed the date which we have thankfully been able to keep George as our singer (phew) I asked George a few weeks a go to record my fiancé's favourite song and a song that reminds him of me and boy did George deliver. This song isn't in the charts but on a new album by John Newman and Georges version I love more than John's. His voice is beautiful and George is a lovely man. We would highly recommend George to play your wedding or any other function you may be having, we asked George to perform our first dance which he learned and performed better than we could have ever imagined. We went to see George perform a couple of times before our wedding at local venues and he was brilliant on every occasion, we can honestly say you will not go wrong if you require someone to perform on your special occasion. I have followed George’s music journey for just over 5 years. Having attended various music gigs, album launches etc, I can honestly say that each and every time, George has always entertained the crowd with not only his own songs but covers too, which are sung so beautifully in his unique tone; displaying both a softness and strength to it. His performance always seems connected to his audience, making you feel apart of it all in a fun yet captivating way. He really is a true talent!

George is a true professional and very talented. Everytime I work along side him I know it's going to be a great wedding. If you are looking for that special touch to your wedding and you love live music then I highly recommend George Simpson! He's awesome.

We booked George for our wedding in April which unfortunately we had to postpone to December due to the pandemic. Throughout this time George was always on hand to go through plans. We booked him for the whole day and he even played an acoustic version of our first dance song which made it even more special. I cannot thank George enough for everything he did to add to our wedding day. All of our guests commented on how good he was and the fact he was able to do so much live singing throughout the day. If we had the need again for another occasion then I will be picking up the phone to George!

Can't recommend enough. George sang at our wedding on the 30th December at the drop of a hat. Less than 2 hours to be precise due to a whirlwind rearrangement to beat the new lockdown measures. Throughout George has been very easy to communicate with and he is just brilliant. Get him booked up when able to do so. It's very much worth it!!

George sang at our covid friendly wedding. He was originally booked to do a larger wedding but we had to scale it down and he performed at the ceremony and drinks reception afterwards. Well what can we say about George that gives him the credit he deserves. My wife and I had the pleasure of him singing all day at our wedding and what an impact he made! Everyone loved him and were raving about him, saying he was the best musician they had heard and asking for his details for their celebrations. As soon as my partner, Ben proposed I announced I wanted live music at the wedding.... not one for normally making demands, but live music to me makes me incredibly happy and he didn't argue with that. Having listened to a few artists recommended by our venue nothing was quite ticking all the boxes, all good, but not quite what we were looking for. Then we came across George and his band Maslow. I think within a few minutes we had made the decision we needed to book you straight away! You did not disappoint.

From the moment our ceremony finished as we walked around the corner to where you were sat looking professional yet relaxed singing away sounding absolutely gorgeous, to the wedding breakfast where you played beautifully whilst our guests were eating. It was just perfection! It set the tone we were after for our day beautifully. Our guests stopped eating their meals several times to applaud you. I'd also like to point out that my Auntie and Uncle are musicians in London and perform in some extremely incredible venues in front of some incredible people and they said that you were THE BEST acoustic guitarist and singer they had heard. They don't throw words like that around lightly, believe me! Thank you SO much!
