Thank you so much for all your kind help and understanding. Your skill and knowledge helped us so much and made the day a true celebration of Mum's life. Your uniforms was magnificent and so was your playing. Your Flowers of the Forrest was so moving and your slow marching while you played was so elegant.
Your piping, addressing the haggis and playing gave us such a great night. Thank you!
Your pipes and playing made the night. Our customers want you back. We are already planning a Burns Night around you. Thank you so much!
Thanks again Hector what a fantastic night. Can't wait to have you play again. Your playing is awesome!
Hector does our Burns Suppers every year. Hector pipes the haggis in, addresses the haggis and entertains us all night. Each year we are always sold out because of Hector.
From start to finish you made our wedding a wonderful day to remember. Thanks bud you are a wonderful piper and man. Can't recommend you high enough.
Hector thank you for all the Welsh songs on the pipes. You made my Mum's funeral a truly wonderful celebration of her life. Thank you so much for your playing and kind care.
Padraig funeral was the largest in the South East of England. It lasted 2 days! Hector you came recommended as the best piper and you are! Thank you so much. Slainte!
Hector played at our wedding in the Ettrick Valley in February. Hector played through the snow and ice as if it was nothing. Hector piped us out the church and at the reception. His turn out and playing made our wedding. Thank you so much Hector. You are a star!
We booked Hector because we were let down by a piper. Hector came down to Durham during Covid. Best thing that ever happened for our wedding. Hector made our wedding with his beautiful piping and immaculate turnout. Hector tough our guests the Scottish dances and played for us. Hector is a wonderful entertainer and piper.
Tom Gilzean MBE has been laid to rest. The archbishop described him as an ornament of the city. A lone piper Hector played Wings, the march of The Corps of Royal Engineers with whom Tom had served followed by Highland Cathedral leading the standard bearers to the front of the Cathedral past Tom’s tartan coffin where they parted and stood guard during the service.
The coffin was removed from the cathedral to the strains of Amazing Grace.
My Mum and Dad wanted a fantastic piper for their Golden Aniversory, so we booked Hector. Hector just made the night. He had everyone up dancing and singing. You can tell Hector just loves to play. Nothing was too much trouble for him. If you want the best piper. Book Hector!
Hector played at our wedding 35 years ago and now plays at all our family functions. Hector is the best piper bar none and now plays at all our family functions. Hector is now also a great family friend now too.
We booked Hector for Dad's Birthday. Dad was ex Kings Own Scottish Borderers. Hector marched in playing there regimental march All Blue Bonnets Over The Border. Dad was over the moon. Hector piped the cake in to Happy Birthday and played for all the dances and sing alongs. Hector was so well dressed and played wonderfully. He made my Dads night so special.
We heard Hecor play at the Army Navy Rugby at Twickenham and knew we wanted him for our wedding in Rhodes. Hector wore full Highland uniform in 29 degree blazing heat. Hector composed my Wedding March, piped me down the aisle and gave a framed copy of my wedding March, as a beautiful surprise. His music and uniforms were magnificent over the entire 4 days. We also booked Hector for our 2nd reception in Manchester. Hector and his piping were 100 out of 10. All our guests kept talking about was how brilliant our piper. Hector extra touches just made our Wedding.
I am a piper myself and wanted the very best piper for my mother. Hector was outstanding! His turnout and pipes were perfection. He slow marched the confin from the service to the graveside. Truly made the day, can not recommend Hector high enough.
Hector just wanted to say from all the family how much we appreciated your wonderful piping. Your kind help was very much appreciated. Thank you.
Just wanted say thank you Hector. You made the night. Will definitely be booking you again.
I booked Hector because I wanted a great piper who could play the Irish National Anthem and traditional Irish music. Hector was magnificent and his music was so beautiful and haunting. Hector made our good bye perfect.
I booked Hector to play in my private box next to the Wales players box at the Millenium Stadium. Hector was fantastic and was a massive hit with my Scottish guests and the Welsh players. We now book Hector on a regular basis. A great guy and a superb piper.
Hector was immaculate and played beautifully in the most atrocious weather. Hector elegantly slowly marched the coffin along our street and to the grave side and as the mourners left the cemetery. Can't thank him enough.
AMAZING! Hector played music for our country dancing and played all the songs we loved. Hector made the night!
Hector played the haggis in and had the crowd in the palm of his hand. He also did the best Address to the Haggis I have ever seen. You can tell Hector really loves what he does. So glad we booked him.
Hector was only supposed to play for an hour, but stayed and played most the night, as our guests wouldn't let him go. Great piper and such a nice Guy.
Hector' s attention to detail and advice made him a pleasure to book. He was amazing from start to finish. His dazzling turn out and playing completely wowed all of us.
Absolutely Brilliant! Our family organised Hector as a surprise. Hector played our wedding waltz The Dark Island. A very special piper and man.

The priest Father Jamie McMorrin said Tom’s was a well kent face in the city. “As Tom used to say ‘Open your hearts and give.
We have been married for 37 years and people still about how wonderful Hector was as our wedding piper. Can't recommend him high enough.
Dad is an ex Kings Own Scottish Borderer, so we want a military piper for his Birthday surprise. Hector is an ex Scots Guards Piper and came highly recommended to us. Hector looked amazing and entered the hall playing the Kings Own Scottish Borderer's regimental march All the Blue Bonnets over the Border. Dad was ecstatic! Hector also played all Dad's favourite regimental tunes and songs. Hector piped the cake in, played dance sets and finished the night off with Auld Lang Syne. Hector now plays at all of our family functions. He is the best!
We got married in Rhodes in blazing 30 heat. We heard and saw Hector play at the Army Navy rugby match at Twickenham and new he was the piper for us. Hector wore his full Highand uniform and thrilled our guest with fantastic music. Hector also composed a wedding march for me and piped me down the aisle. Hector exceeded all of our expectations and gave us the perfect wedding. Hector is a 100 out of 10@
I am a solo piper, so I wanted the very best piper for my mother's funeral. Hector elegantly slow marched the hearse to the chapel. His turn out was immaculate, his playing and pipes were perfection. Hector played Flowers of the Forrest at the graveside and slow marched away so the Lament drifted away. Such a wonderful touch. Can not recommend Hector high enough. He made our wish of taking a sad day and turning it into a wonderful celebration of my Mum's life.
