Ian was amazing. We all loved his playing and the Address to the Haggis.

Ian was so helpful for our pub’s first Burns Night event. He called prior to the event to talk through the specifics and even made recommendations on what a traditional night would involve. On the night, Ian arrived promptly in full garb, which our customers love. We had a few of our local Scots in who were very impressed with the music as well as the recital of Address to a Haggis. Would absolutely recommend!

Hired Ian to play at an outdoor event in April and it was fantastic. He arrived in full regalia, engaged well with the crowd and really made the event. I will book again!

Ian played the top table into dine first, then when the chef was ready, piped the haggis in marching around the tables so that everyone could see. Once in position he gave a good rendition of Robbie Burns' address to the haggis. Finishing up by cutting it up and drinking a toast with everyone to the haggis. He then played the chef back to the kitchen. It really added to our traditional Scottish Burns Night by having a piper and the haggis addressed in the traditional way... very entertaining, all the guests loved it!

Having seen Ian put on an amazing performance at a Burns night celebration, I asked him to perform at our Queen's Jubilee Street Party celebrations. As an addition to the festivities Ian added a tremendous sense of occaision. I would rank him amongst the best in the UK, and would highly recommend him for any occaision where Bagpipes would add value.
