When Vasili kindly agreed to perform at our parish wine tasting evening at short notice, I couldn’t have imagined just how special the evening would become.

From the moment he agreed to help, he completely put my mind at ease. Organising events can be stressful, but I knew we were in safe hands. What he delivered far exceeded anything I could have hoped for.

He arrived immaculately dressed and immediately struck the perfect balance for the evening. He worked brilliantly alongside our sommelier, bringing warmth, humour and genuine charm. Before each performance, he explained a little about opera, how it works and the stories behind the pieces, which made the experience accessible and engaging for everyone, including those who had never experienced opera before.

Then he sang.

The room fell silent. It was simply breathtaking. The quality of his voice and the emotion he brought to every piece gave us goosebumps. You could see the effect it had on everyone in the room. It was one of those rare moments where you realise you’re witnessing something truly special. I’ve never experienced anything like hearing opera performed live, and it completely transformed the evening into something magical. Every single person commented afterwards on how much they had loved it.

Beyond his extraordinary talent, Vasili is a genuinely kind, spiritual and positive person. His presence brought something very special to our parish community, and I feel incredibly privileged that he shared his gift with us.

The evening was made even more meaningful because our beloved Father Alan was able to join us and enjoy the performance with everyone. It is a memory that I know many of us will treasure.

I cannot recommend Vasili highly enough. If you’re considering booking him, don’t hesitate. He is an exceptional performer, an absolute gentleman, and someone who leaves a lasting impression long after the final note.

I organised a birthday surprise for my mums birthday and Vasili came to sing for her. it was absolutely wonderful his voice and presence are magnificent an experience none of us will ever forget ?

I was arranging a special 'covid-safe' 80th birthday surprise and was asked to find a tenor who would be prepared to serenade a very special lady in her garden. I listened to/watched around 50 singers on the internet until I came across Vasili and knew he was just perfect! Vasili was very good at responding to all manner of queries and came up with suggestions as to a suitable repertoire. On the day itself, the weather was absolutely terrible, but Vasili was a real trooper and a consummate professional, not just giving a great performance whilst the heavens opened, but making it a truly touching and personal experience as well. I would highly recommend booking Vasili if you want to give your event that extra sparkle of flair and brilliance! Thank you Vasili!

Vasili has been incredible to work with. He is very creative and passionate about opera and entretainment. He has been very helpful throughout the whole process and has been a delight to work with. His performance was very good and full of commitment to the pieces and medium. Your performance on Saturday was really important for creating the magical atmosphere and ambience for the party.  It was a quite exceptional evening, with so much going on, and your beautiful performance started the evening in great style and in a really wonderful way.   We knew at once that we were in for a remarkable and unique evening.

I made a booking with Georgiana for Vasili to perform at a Civil Service affiliated event. A Minister and other special guests were in attendance. From the first engagement with Georgiana I was grateful for her professionalism and advice, especially regarding how to properly introduce Vasili to the audience and how the event could be best arranged to ensure the performance was the highlight of the evening. Vasili's performance was flawless. His voice was captivating and the song choice reflected the themes of the event. Vasili has a true presence and gravitas during every moment of his set. He received a standing ovation from the guests and his performance was incredibly well received by the guests, which in turn elevated how special the evening was. We are beyond pleased that Vasili performed at our event and I anticipate making several bookings in the near future on the basis of how exceptional our experience was with Vasili and Georgiana.

I used to sing in and run the alto section of the Chelsea Opera Group in London,I believe it still goes strong.I had the privilege of singing in the chorus alongside Rita Hunter,Willard White and others, Our conductors included Simon Rattle (Porgy and Bess) Mark Elder,Paul Daniel, Roger Norrington and Colin Davis was the conductor for Peter Grimes. That was something else. My husband helped with stage management. So you can see that we appreciate the opera very much and I do hope that we are able to hear you sing again in the future.

Absolutely phenomenal. Vasili is an amazingly talented operatic Tenor (I have a background in classical music myself therefore should be in a good place to make that call). There are not enough words to say how much we appreciate your part in our celebration of mum's 90th birthday. After a tiring train journey when you would probably like to have rested, your first thoughts were that you needed to learn everything to make the evening personal and special for Mum. Special doesn't even cover it - it was utterly amazing - there aren't enough adjectives to describe it!! We knew we were getting a tenor to perform but never could we have expected what you both gave us. Vasili you put your heart and soul into your performance and your preparation,learning new songs at the last minute. Your beautiful voice and emotional rendition of the music reached out and grabbed the hearts of those there. Many who didn't know this music, said they were so moved and thought it was wonderful. The effect on Mum was so touching - how deeply she was affected by those songs that took her back to when her and Dad were young. Vasili your dancing with her was beautiful and brought many to tears. The fact that you both entered into the party spirit,dancing with us and interacting was so unexpected & truly unbelievable. Mum said afterwards that she had a wonderful time that she'll remember for the rest of her days. We can honestly say that we all feel the same. Unforgettable!!

Mr Vasili Karpiak (tenor), at my request and booking, sang for the Annual Banquet of the Wandsmen of St Paul's Cathedral, London held at the Livery Hall of the Worshipful company of Cutlers,Warwick Lane, London EC4M 7BR are on Friday 8th of March 2013.
Such an important occasion such as this, by tradition, requires an exceptional standard of performance and Mr Karpiak was acknowledged as possibly the finest Operatic singer the occasion had welcomed in the last 20 years.
Someone involved in the world of opera in the Arts for 50 or more years I consider Mr Karpiak to be a prodigious talent with hopefully superb musical and professional future.

I write with regard to Mr Vasili Karpiak and am very pleased to confirm that he was employed to perform at our Annual Gala Concert held here at the National Liberal Club 8 th August 2014. We were introduced to Mr Karpiak, through the Honourable Society of the Knights of the Round Table who had given him an Award and of which our Chairman is a member.Each year since 2011 we have arranged a Summer Gala Concert and Dinner in August,
featuring a range of professional musicians. This black tie gala event is an important part of the social calendar of the club, attracting many members and their guests each year. Mr Karpiak’s performance was particularly well received and he had put together, at our request, a varied selection of arias from Italian opera. Based on his splendid performance of two 45 minute sections, he clearly has a wonderful talent and a great future ahead of him.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Karpiak to anyone who is looking to employ the services of such a young tenor and we wish him well in his future career in this very competitive industry.

Although it was not the ideal environment in which to perform, they were incredibly accommodating and made the best of it. There were some real opera fans in the audience and they were in raptures about these two voices.
I shall watch as Vasili and Anna progress in their careers, and I hope that they will let me know should there be other opportunities to hear them sing.
Together with their excellent accompanist, they provided the highlight of the evening and I couldn't have asked for more.
