We had James perform an acoustic set during the afternoon of my 40th birthday celebration and he was absolutely brilliant. He played and sang for three hours and kept the atmosphere perfect throughout — relaxed, uplifting and full of great energy. His music created such a lovely vibe, with everyone swaying along, chatting and enjoying themselves while mingling. So many of our guests commented afterwards on how good he was and how much they enjoyed his performance. One of the most special moments of the day was when James kindly helped my daughter and her best friend perform their own song. He made them feel comfortable and supported, and it turned into a memory we’ll all treasure. James was professional, talented and read the room perfectly. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for any celebration or event. Thank you for helping make my 40th birthday so memorable!

James was so professional, he sang and performed so many great songs and got everyone up dancing and singing along, he is just what we wanted to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and also sang our wedding song, we had the best time and would highly recommend

I booked James for a family function at my home. I have to say he exceeded all expectations! I can't rate James highly enough! Communication with James was really good. I had a garden party with an age range from 7 to 83! James was extremely creative and flexible in terms of reading the crowd and interacting with them! Everyone commented on how good he was. It was the best party I have had and will definitely be booking him for next year!

We hired James for our son’s second birthday party. We choose him because his profile fitted our specification for covering lots of genres and age demographics! He totally hit the mark - from the youngsters tapping their feet, the oldies couples on the garden dance floor, my toddler singing the next and a delightful happy birthday guitar piece - truly special.   Communication was always super prompt, thoughtful and very clear. We would happily recommend and use James again

James sang at my wife’s 50th bday party in our back garden. There was about 50 people there and he sang two sets. All I can say is he kept everyone on their feet and everyone had a great time. He sang various songs to suit our taste but most were from 80’s 90’s and 00’s. Great comms before and arrived on time and his set was great. Would highly recommend truly top bloke

James was brilliant at our informal post wedding house party covering a wide range of material. Really versatile voice and playing style and had us all singing together by the end. Also very generously played at least 2 long sets in the garden area and then the house when it got chilly. Great stuff!

James arrived on time and we agreed timings for the sets to fit in the timing for the food, James played music inbetween his sets and played everything we requested, James was so Professional and Friendly a really nice chap, his singing was Fantastic and he worked hard to ensure everybody enjoyed themselves and interacted with guests. Wow what a fantastic night we had with James celebrating mine and my husband 60th birthday and also our 10th wedding anniversary. James came in playing his guitar and singing "More than Words", to our family, this was a lovely way to start the night and was a beautiful way as my husband and family had no idea. James spent over 3 hours singing to us, getting us up dancing , his lights were fantastic and his choices of songs would suit young to old , would highly recommend James , from start to end James was available to chat and help in anyway , but say this was a garden party and honestly family couldn't believe how this night went and how James entertained us all , we are still talking about it and thinking of making it a annual thing , thankyou!

They say the hardest thing for a performer is to play to an audience full of other performers. That is exactly what we booked James for last Friday night. His audience was made up of musical theatre actors, singers and dancers. What really stood out to me was the flexibility that James showed on the night. He did a few songs in the first set and then started changing things up. Once he found the genre of songs that got the audience singing and dancing, he never looked back. The evening went from strength to strength as James mixed in tracks from shows like Les Misérables, Oliver! and Beauty and the Beast. In the numbers where the lead singers from these shows was in the audience, he shared the microphone, and the duets brought the house down. No one wanted it to end, so we asked James to do a third set during which he was totally in tune with the audience. Between the signing and the laughter, he had the whole group in the palm of his hand. Well done James! You can book him with confidence

James was absolutely fantastic from the moment I first got in touch with him. Very responsive and accommodating prior to the event (despite the request being on short notice) and, on the day of the party he played the perfect acoustic set. He was very professional, friendly and great fun. Would highly recommend him!

James was exactly what I was hoping for! He was fun, entertaining and kept the party going. Loved his version of Robbie Williams “Angels”. Perhaps he should consider being a Robbie Williams tribute as well.....and loved the George Michael tribute, outfit, songs and moves.

I found James while perusing for a live musician for a surprise 70th birthday party we were holding for our mum. From start to finish, James was communicative and kept me informed every step of the way. We welcomed mum in while James played a small DJ set, then he sang live. I was blown away by his talent and the hypnotic smoothness of his voice. He played a further set after a break and really got the crowd up and dancing. All in all, a highly talented musician and I commend anyone who can get to the high pitches of the Spice Girls :-)
