Epsom Rotary asked Jamie Gray to provide the entry music for the prestigious Centenary Ball which we held at the Epsom Downs Racecourse. His gentle style provided the ideal entrance into our event and he was a pleasure to work with. Recommended.

We hired Jamie to play the drinks reception at our wedding after seeing his videos and reading fantastic reviews. Jamie was super helpful through the process of planning our songs, arrived at our venue early to ensure he was set up on time and cannot recommend him highly enough for how amazingly he played, all our guests were commenting on how brilliant he was! He really gave our wedding the wow factor. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Jamie again for future events, thank you again so much Jamie!

Jamie played a mixture of tunes to entertain our guests at our lunch party. He brought all his own equipment which he set up efficiently and unobtrusively. He has an extensive play list and is happy to play what you want from the list. He would be as happy to play as background music or as more of a performance. Jamie played piano at our Garden Party event, with a repertoire ranging from classical, jazz through to contemporary. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the music. Jamie was thoroughly professional and personable, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for any event as he tailors his programme perfectly to the audience and caters for all ages and tastes.

Jamie was excellent! He played piano during our lawn drinks reception and then inside during our wedding breakfast. He played a mixture of pop, rock and music from films as requested and it was exactly what we'd hoped for. He offered to play for longer which we happily said yes to but we perhaps should have considered costs before squiffily saying yes, but do not regret it as he was great and gave an excellent vibe for the day! Lots of compliments from guests and fantastic communication before and after the event!

Jamie played a really great selection of music across the decades for our special celebration and had many compliments on the night !! Prompt , professional and highly recommended.

I would like to recommend Jamie Gray for events large or small. He played piano for a charity fundraising event I was organising outside in a garden attended by 150 people. As requested he played a mixture of classical and contemporary pieces but also hits from the Blitz and some jazz. Jamie was fantastic, super accomplished, and he really made the occasion very special. Jamie went above and beyond what was expected of him and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Jamie came to cover our musicians for one session whilst they were away and he is a very talented pianist. Jamie plays the piano beautifully. Thank you for helping us out.

Jamie played at our wedding when guests were arriving, during the ceremony and for the drinks reception. I knew of Jamie because he would busk in the town where I went to uni. We would stumble home after nights out and dance in the street to Jamie playing. He would gather crowds of people singing, laughing and dancing. 4 years later I contacted him and asked him to play at the wedding. It was the best decision we made. The ceremony was very emotional and the live piano made it so special and memorable. All our guests loved the music and spoke to us about how great Jamie was after the wedding too! We would recommend him to everybody!!

I hired Jamie for my wedding ​reception and ceremony music at the Dorchester Hotel, London in 2017 for a piano set up. It was a one day wedding with 40 guests. He was swift in his correspondence to my initial enquiries and was accommodating to our song request list. On the day he was prompt, professional and provided very much a memorable experience for myself, better half and guests. His playing style was well matched to the occasion and it certainly provided the intimate experience we were looking for. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend Jamie to others. Jamie is a fantastically talented musician who gave our wedding day and very special extra spark.
Firstly he played the whole way through dinner which set and beautifully ambience to the wedding breakfast and filled the air with love, happiness and a romanticism which would not have been there with his playing. He played everything from memory and everyone found it incredible that he had so many songs stored in his memory.

We also asked Jamie to help us with something else, something a little more specialist. Yeah sing in a band and we wanted to perform “feeling good” as a band but also with family and friends playing with us having rehearsed on their own at home. Jamie was able to arrange the music, provide sheet music for several different instruments including saxophone, violin and trumpet. He also provided a midi sound file for people to listen to for each instrument and the whole ensemble so people could play along and practice. Jamie also played the piano for us during this song on the night and everything sounded amazing. Everyone was blown away.

If you are thinking of hiring Jamie to help with your wedding or other special occasion, let me just say you won’t be disappointed and it will add so much to your event. Worth every penny and we will definitely be using Jamie again in the future for something.
