First dance surprise

Would highly recommend Jess to anyone thinking of hiring a saxophonist for their wedding! I wanted to surprise me dad for our dance with a song jess didn't have on her playlist. She was more than accommodating with this request if she wasn't able to forfill she gave other options! The playlist she provided was huge! Response was amazing and so friendly in a professional way also!

Jess was absolutely incredible at my Celebrating Her Charity Ball in March! From the very beginning, she was excellent to communicate with, responsive, professional, and so accommodating with everything I wanted. She brought the most amazing energy and vibes to the event, creating such a fun atmosphere that everyone loved. She was a real highlight of the evening, and I received so many compliments from my guests about her performance. I couldn't wait to book her again for Celebrating Her 2.0, and I know she'll be just as amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jess to anyone looking for a talented saxophonist who will make their event unforgettable!

Wedding Piano & Sax!🎼🤍 Jess played Piano for our wedding ceremony, and then played some smooth Sax during our drinks reception and then returned to do a Sax Set in the evening with more party tunes! We were able to pick any songs we wanted for our aisle song/signing the register and Jess was so helpful with this and sent us recordings of the songs so that we would know what it would sound like! Jess also supplies a list of her most played/most popular songs that she plays to make it really easy to choose from! The piano and sax sounded absolutely amazing - Jess you are so talented. Jess was perfect in every way. I couldn’t recommend her enough. Jess is also fab at communicating and was always super quick to reply to my many many questions!!!🤣 Thank you so much Jess!!!

We couldn’t recommend Jess Hughes enough! She played the saxophone for 90 minutes during our ‘cocktail hour’ at our wedding on Wednesday 10th June, and she was absolutely incredible.

We wanted an Ibiza-style vibe, and Jess delivered it perfectly. She had everyone dancing, singing along, and really set the tone for the rest of the evening. The atmosphere she created was amazing, and so many of our guests commented on how brilliant she was!

Jess was quick to reply to emails, professional and an absolute pleasure to have as part of our special day. If you’re looking for someone to bring fantastic energy and unforgettable live music to your special day then she is the perfect choice.

Jess really got the party started for our drinks reception! She was full of energy, fun vibes and had a great set list, that we were able to pick out our favourites beforehand. Flexible on the day with a slight shift in timings. Great communication. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed her performance - we should have booked her for longer. We booked Jess to come and play at our daughter’s 21st birthday party. Jess was fantastic, unfortunately Jess had a nightmare journey getting to us and even with the added stress Jess arrived early and very well prepared. Jess catered to our requirements to the last detail. Jess was a surprise for my daughter who loves the sax especially Ibiza themed. My daughter cried happy tears when she heard Jess doing her sound check from the other room! Jess played piano during our drinks reception and saxophone during our wedding breakfast. All I can say is she is AMAZING. She didn’t stop playing. She has an extensive list of songs to pick from for both we loved sitting and picking ones that we wanted.
We’ve had so many compliments from our guests how much they enjoyed listening to her and how it added so much to the day.
Shes great to communicate with answered any questions I had. Can’t wait to get our wedding video back to hear her playing again.

Jess was an absolute pleasure to work with from our initial contact through to agreeing the event timetable / playlist & on to her performance at the afternoon of our wedding.
This talented lady (Jess also plays keyboard professionally however we opted on the day for Saxophone only) played a variety of music which contributed immensely to a fabulous atmosphere (with much of it being outside as we were so lucky with the weather) & especially ramping up to a dance/ party vibe towards the latter end of the performance. Indeed many guests commented on how good Jess was & how much they had enjoyed her playing which speaks for itself. Jess came to play at my 30th Birthday Party in Barnsley. I came across her through this website, she responded to my enquiry and answered every question I had. She spoke to me about the track list and kept in contact with me right up to the event to make sure I was happy with everything. She was brilliant on the night, all the guests loved her and helped add that little something extra to my party.

Wow! We really can’t thank Jess enough and would recommend her to anyone looking for that extra special touch for their wedding day. Jess was fantastic from the moment we booked her, in regular conversation with us, sending samples of what she can play and guiding us with song choices.
On the day of the wedding Jess was amazing, arriving well ahead of time to set up and make sure everything was in place. She played eveything we wanted and more, all our guests commented how great she was and people were dancing and singing along to the tunes at various points in the day. 10 out of 10 for everything.
