Josh was brilliant. Super versatile and really professional. This was the second time that he had sung at an event for us and it definitely won’t be the last. From accommodating some strange requests to fully engaging with the partygoers, he made our event extra special. Would highly recommend.

Josh played an acoustic set at our wedding drinks reception recently and he was absolutely great. We loved the set and the laid back mood he created, it was exactly what we’d hoped for. From start to finish, Josh delivered an amazing performance that had everyone up dancing and singing along. His vocals were spot-on, his setlist had something for everyone, and his energy really lifted the room.

Josh stepped in super last minute for our work summer party, thank you!! He was brilliant, he played loads of happy upbeat tunes and finished with the crowd pleasers, just what everyone needed after a free bar on a boat for 3 hours. I highly recommend him for any function and look forward to inviting him to perform at another one of our work parties :).

Josh was excellent throughout. We asked him to sing 2 songs before and after the ceremony and this sounded brilliant. He continued his set down for a further 2 hours during drinks and canapés. Josh was amazing! We hired him to play at the drinks reception of our wedding and he gave an amazing vibe for the time our guests were outside the marquee. It really added to our wedding and we had so many compliments from our guests!

Josh was unreal — just him and his guitar, but he had the whole room hooked from the first note. His vibe was so chill but powerful, like he knew exactly how to read the crowd and pull everyone in. Proper talent and seriously captivating.

Josh smith has been the most amazing musician throughout the years of me running the pub. He has carried those sad rainy Sundays, through to significant sunny Saturdays and by reading the crowd he has always managed to fill the room with customers, making memories with either family or close friends. Most importantly Josh is a joy to watch and sing along to. He’s always remains professional & this also shows in his creative posters and social media posts to engage my online views & followers. Josh sang at our wedding and was truly amazing. He sang Eva Cassidy song bird as I walked down the aisle, bringing everyone to tears. Kept everyone entertained and provided a lovely atmosphere during our drinks reception. He also sang for our first dance wich for me made it even more special and memorable.
Josh has a beautiful voice and with his guitar and loop pedals can really put on a performance. Not only this but he is a lovely guy, very accommodating and trustworthy. I would highly recommend.

We’ve always enjoyed Josh’s music and have seen him lots of times in various venues around Newbury. He has a great voice, is a really talented guitarist and has a very varied set, ranging from quiet, soulful tracks to full on floor fillers. Josh played at our recent birthday party in our local pub and did not disappoint. He was the highlight of the afternoon and evening and had people on their feet and joining in by the end of the night. Everyone said how much they enjoyed his performance and how he’d made the event really special. We can’t recommend Josh highly enough, for big or small events - he’ll definitely make them as enjoyable as he did ours!

We had Josh perform at our barn wedding in July this year. As the bride, I felt that having Josh sing at our wedding really set the mood. As well as Him playing his set, there were very much moments of the day when having Josh play a song here and there made the itinerary run seamlessly.

Josh performed at our wedding back in May he was fantastic! Everyone was up dancing and singing along and he even let my cousin who performed earlier that night on the drums join in half way through and they made a performance that people are still talking about and carried on way past the time he should have!
Would highly recommend Josh for a wedding or event very versatile and plays music that everyone can get involved in!
