Julia is classically trained, having completed her studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London where she gained a Bachelor of Music with Honours and a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction. She has performed at some of the top concert halls in the UK including The Royal Albert Hall and has performed at the Proms with the BBC Symphony Orchestra but she has always had a passion for indie music. Her first taste of performing with a jazz band came when she was just 10 years old and the feeling of freedom that came with playing modern music never left her.
Julia Violinista performs some of your favourite songs in a very unique way. What makes her performances so unique is her ability to arrange her own music and layer the parts on top of each other to create her own music videos and recreate popular songs. In doing this she has created her own string backing tracks to accompany herself and has aportable wireless PA system that she brings to her events.

I’ve been performing since I was 7, when I first got up on stage with my teacher’s jazz band! Since then I have played at hundreds of events both in the UK and internationally.
I love being on stage so any event, whether it be a wedding, corporate function or festival, I enjoy.
I can tailor my packages to suit the requirements of the client so timings vary. I arrive an hour before my booking time to setup and soundcheck.
Yes, as long as there is shelter from both sunshine and rain and a power outlet. If not then I will setup inside venues.
Yes! For weddings I give clients the choice of songs for their ceremony music. If clients want to choose a playlist of songs I am happy for them to do so from my song list.

I have a set songlist to choose from. Requests are considered but a lot goes into arranging the songs - many of my arrangements are for 4+ violins!
I am happy to play outside but my violin cannot be in direct sunlight nor rain so I do ask for a good amount of shelter from these elements. If there is a hint of any rain, due to my electrical equipment I would need to go indoors.
