Saw you last night at woodland waters and thought you were fantastic. Sang along with you all night and even got up to do a couple of dances.

A great atmosphere on Sunday as we turned the Café Bar into an Irish pub with live music from Kellys Heroes for Martin McDonagh's THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN ?? ?

Kelly’s Heroes came to play at my Dad’s wake and made it such a special event. Helen dealt with the admin ahead of the event and was absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much to the whole band and you were absolutely amazing. Aisling and family xx

We have had floods of messages from guests, the venue and our external suppliers (DJ, photographers and photo booth) saying how amazing you were, with the photo booth attendant showing me his goosebumps whilst you played!

We booked Kellys Heroes to play at our wedding earlier this year and we were not disappointed! Everyone at our wedding was up on the dance floor, dancing for the entire set, they're great musicians with a great set list. I think all of our guests could have gone on for the rest of the night. Everyone still tells us that it was one of the highlights of any wedding they've been to. Thank you!

Thank you so much to Kelly’s Heroes for performing at our wedding evening reception. They were friendly and helpful from the beginning of the booking process right through to after the wedding. All our guests loved them, they provided a great lively atmosphere, and encouraged everyone to get involved. We had guests who go to ceilidhs regularly, and some who had never been to one before. The ceilidh was suitable for everyone, and everyone said how much fun they had.

One of the band members taught us the moves to a first dance ceilidh, which we then demonstrated so that everyone could get involved. It was a slower dance and an ideal start with to get everyone involved and comfortable with the dancing.

We went for the six person band with two song sets and a ceilidh, and this was ideal for an evening do. Kelly’s Heroes played a great range of tunes which everyone enjoyed tapping along to even if they weren’t ready for a dance yet!

We really hope to see them play again in the near future, and we definitely recommend them for events.

David and I don't know how to thank you and your colleagues enough for your absolutely brilliant contribution to our wedding reception. Everyone was raving about how great you were, and I can't count how many times I said, in response to how I found you; "The best ever result of days of google searching"

I think that I told you this before, but I listened to so many clips of bands, and it took me about 30 seconds of listening to you to know that you were the right people for the wedding of two musicians, whose guest list was chock full of musicians!

I have an absolutely hilarious video of my 7 year old niece going crazy to your music, which I would be happy to send along if you would like. She is officially your biggest fan, and loudly declared that evening "That music makes this the BEST WEDDING EVER!!!"

Please could you pass along our admiration and gratitude to the rest of the band? I hope that we will meet again someday, but until then, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Kellys Heroes performed a Ceilidh and played some of their amazing songs at our wedding in March 2019. We had previously seen them perform in Nottingham at the City Arts Folk Proms, and had initially only intended to have a Ceilidh, though after hearing Tony's vocals, we knew that our wedding guests would love to hear them as well! The entire band are so friendly, helpful and accommodating, and were amazing at our wedding. We highly recommend you to book Kellys Heroes for any events you may have - they will not disappoint! Everyone loved them at our wedding, and are still talking about them!

Kellys Heroes- the best Trad/Irish/Folk Band!

Saw you guys last night at National Forest Folk, Moira, our first time! Fantastic night out, you were so very entertaining!

Awesome set at the Causeway Foot this afternoon guys! Thank you for the great music! Me and my family loved it and we will definitely be keeping an eye out for when you're back in the area! ☘️

We had an amazing time and everyone has said how much they enjoyed it. Even a couple of friends who were very sceptical of Ceilidhs were won over and had a great time! One of my American friends who had no experience of folk music just walked up to me and said 'This is the best thing since....just the best'.

Wow, what a sound you have! We thoroughly enjoyed having you perform at our wedding last week and all our guests had a great time. So much dancing and fun was had by all, and literally everyone commented on what a wonderful choice we made in inviting you as our guest band. Weddings don't always go to plan and in our case a crucial lead broke on our ipad for the party music, and Kellys Heroes came to the rescue and very kindly donated their lead so we could finish off the party. Such talented lovely people so I very much recommend Kellys Heroes and we are looking forward to seeing you perform at another event in the future!!

The band was fantastic. There was a few people at the wedding that had not danced in years but got up when they heard them :)

I have seen and admired Kelly's Heroes for a number of years and always find them hugely entertaining. The musicianship and vocals are consistently top quality and their choice of material is guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser. Highly recommended for almost any type of event, from pubs to concerts and festivals.

I've had the tremendous good fortune to have been asked to call ceilidh dances with Kellys on numerous occasions. It's never difficult to get people up on the dance floor once Helen kicks off on the accordion, and when Steve's driving rhythm guitar comes in, coupled with Tony's pounding bodhran, the only 'problem' is getting people to sit down and have a breather between dances! And when you get Simon and John bumping it up to a 5-piece with fiddle and banjo (plus various pipes and whistles) well, all I can say is "Hold on to your socks!"

I have been a fan of Kelly's Heroes for many years. I never tire of hearing them. As we say in Ireland the Craics always good at their gig. I think the secrets are they are accomplished musicians no weakness in any department. Hugh range of songs and tunes! Tony who fronts the band makes everyone feel welcomed and encourages joining in the choruses. I would recommend them every time. Cracking live band and with their any CDs you can take them home after the gig!

Kelly's Heroes are highly original in their renditions of Celtic, mainly Irish, music and song. They include; a guitarist who can be a rhythm section in his own right, a remarkable native Irish singer who can move from lyrical traditional singing to a declamatory, story telling style plus versatile and virtuoso playing of accordion, fiddle and banjo. There is never a dull moment when this band are on stage while at the same while there is nothing formulaic about their musical treatments. Kelly's Heroes are utterly unique and brilliant.

My family have been following this band for over 20 years now. From the toe tapping faster tunes to the haunting ballads, I cannot rate this band highly enough. Everyone in the audience appears to be having a fantastic night with many people dancing. The band are very professional and friendly and seem to attract an audience that follows them all over the country year after year. Recently, they very kindly played for my mother in her own home ,when she was terminally ill. It proved a very memorable and moving day for her friends and family. I will always be grateful to them for this. My rating for this band is 100 out of 10!!!

Even the left footed miseries got up to have a go, driven by your music and the attitude of the band. Pete particularly loved “The Greenfields of France” and “The Tweed”. He’s been singing them for days, driving me crazy! We can’t think of any one else that would have made our day so wonderful, (except Rod Stewart in person for Sue!), so thank you once again. I have personally known this band for more years than sometimes I want to remember. (I think about 25!). They have performed many times in all three establishments associated with my long career as a licensee. In addition, I have watched & listened to their music in numerous Castle Rock Pub outlets, in my capacity as director of said company. The band exhibit the kind of professional approach to their audience, no matter how big or small the venue, that would be an example to many other performers I have witnessed over the years. Playing with real passion, skill and flare, they embrace their audience into their world of Celtic music like no other. During their distinguished career, they have built up a seemingly endless repertoire of songs and tunes from their Celtic roots, and therefore every set played to faithful followers tends to be unique! All the members of this great band, both past and present, have become personal friends of mine and long may it continue. I have no hesitation in recommending Kellys Heroes to any establishment or agency.

I booked Kellys Heroes to play at my 60th birthday party. You were amazing and everyone loved you. Everybody there was talking about how good you were, and they are still talking about it, even now. You were the main feature of the party which people remember! Of course, your excellent local reputation preceded you and that took some living up to - you did so admirably. I was worried that, with such a diverse group of guests, there would be awkward silences but Tony did a sterling job at getting people up on the dance floor and, once they started, they couldn’t stop. Quite a few of my friends commented that they forgot we were all hitting 60 and were dancing like young ‘uns. It says much for your music, though, that the real young ‘uns also joined in and it was a treat to see that younger Irish generation (because about 2/3 of the party were Irish) showing off their traditional dance skills to your music. Your song and tune selection was really excellent. Just the right balance, and lovely to have some songs which were favourites (Billy was completely made up with Carrickfergus) and others which were original compositions. Of course, the standard was – well – absolutely professional. It must be great to have such universal appeal. I can honestly say that your music hit the mark with both young and old; English and Irish – and even the small Greek contingent got up and learned a few dance moves! Your CD is being well-played on Corfu and in Athens now! I noticed a good few of the staff from the bar downstairs snuck in for a sneaky look too. Kelly's were brilliant! They did 2 x3/4 hour sets plus extended encores, they really made our wedding reception go with a bang. A great mix of tunes. And songs. 10 out of 10.

I have seen this band perform many times over the years and find them consistantly very good. A good mixture of folk, Irish, humour and generally fun. They've always had the ability to make you want to get up and dance!
