Ideally , we would like a performance space of at least 4 metres x 3 metres. 4 x 13 amp power sockets and 4 parking spaces
Yes. We have our own 8,000 watt PA system and light show . We reduce the PA size for small and medium size venues. Our stage props and lighting form a big part of our show
Directions and parking/unloading information. Also, it is always useful if we know the earliest time that we can access as it’s always beneficial to set up and sound check in good time. If there’s a sound limiter in the venue we would need to know and check it out. One huge advantage of the band is that we can use a high end electronic drum kit to be able to control volumes
Yes - we are happy to play music before and after our sets. We can also organise a specific DJ if required
We have a full 8,000 watt PA system for larger venues and a 4,000 watt PA system for small- medium size venues
Yes - we have a full light show
We have played at a large outdoor wedding on a big trailer - we have played village dances, charity events and pubs mainly. Phil on bass has played in front of 3,500 people as a member of a Blues Brothers tribute act
We love the range of music we play. It includes the sophistication of Steely Dan, the alternative style of Depeche Mode, the rock of Led Zep, the R&B of Amy Winehouse and the dance styles of Daft Punk
The band members have varied degrees of experience. The leader of the band played for decades in wedding and tribute bands He played in front of crowds in excess of 3,000 on a few occasions with a Blues Brothers tribute band. . Eva on keyboards is a classically trained pianist. Kirsty and the River Rats are the result of 2 years of intensive rehearsal. We played 20 gigs in our first 12 months on the road.
We love playing to any enthusiastic crowd regardless of the venue . We do love a full dance floor and our set list is aimed at achieving that.
We normally need a couple of hours to set up ….we normally perform 2 x 45 minute sets ( plus any encores !)
