Kristian is a highly skilled and versatile guitarist. He started playing the guitar when he was 7 years old and has always had a love of all different styles and genres of music on acoustic and electric guitar.
With his teachers, Helen Sanderson, Mark Eden and Chris Stell, he learnt the classical guitar repertoire. Since then, he has immersed himself in popular music and musicals. Having graduated with an honours bachelor’s degree in Classical Guitar Performance at the Royal College of Music London, Kristian went on to study 20th Century Composition for his Master’s degree at Goldsmiths University London. He has participated in masterclasses with world-acclaimed guitarists, including Martha Masters, Benjamin Verdery, Johannes Moller and Maestro Leo Brouwer.
Kristian has performed in various venues with many different types of performance. He has headlined concerts, performed at guitar festivals, worked in pit bands for musicals, at weddings, corporate events and in recording sessions. Some of these venues include; The South Bank Centre, Kings Place, Britten Theatre, Amaryllis Fleming Hall, George Wood Theatre, Two Temple Place, and many churches around London. He is also experienced in ensemble work in partnership with singers and instrumentalists.
He is a member of the Musicians' Union and fully covered by public liability insurance.
Kristian loves performing contemporary songs and movie classics as well as the standard classical guitar repertoire, with a huge library of songs that he would love to play at your event. If you have a song request for the day, let him know and he will produce an arrangement at no extra cost.
