Lizzie is available to hire for weddings, corporate events, and recordings. Having performed extensively throughout the UK and internationally, Lizzie’s playing has taken her around the world, including performances in Hong Kong, Myanmar, Egypt, India and much of Europe. Lizzie is available to book internationally as well as in the UK.
Lizzie uses her acoustic violin for performances either unamplified or using a microphone through a PA system. Her solo performances are all accompanied by professional backing tracks, expertly curated to bring the perfect atmosphere for any occasion. Acoustic Violin performances are best suited to ceremonies and formal gatherings, adding sophistication to any event. Lizzie offers the unique option to perform on her electric Violin - a Bridge Aquila 4-string in Blue Pearl, perfect for a modern and contemporary atmosphere and high-impact performances. Much like with her acoustic violin performances, Lizzie can be accompanied with her own professional backing tracks but on her electric Violin, she also provides the option to improvise over DJs as a live entertainer for parties and club nights. Lizzie is also available to book as part of a string quartet - visit her website for more details.
Lizzie enjoys a varied and exciting freelance career working with orchestras and artists alike, from concert halls to television and radio. Lizzie has worked with many artists including: Paloma Faith, Jade Bird, Andrea Bocelli, and Liam Gallagher. Performing with many different ensembles, Lizzie has worked with the Welsh Chamber Orchestra, London Chamber Players and the Ulster Orchestra, with whom she has been seated as Guest Principal Second Violin. As a soloist, Lizzie made her concerto debut alongside the Oxford Chamber orchestra in 2016. In 2015 Lizzie joined the cast of Lord of the Dance as their on-stage violinist, holding a residency at the Playhouse Theatre in London’s West End. As a frequent leader of the Urban Soul Orchestra, Lizzie has led the ensemble for their “Classic Ibiza” show dates with audiences of up to 15,000 people.
Lizzie was awarded the Morfydd Owen String Scholarship to read music at Cardiff University before embarking on postgraduate study at the world-renowned Royal College of Music and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she was also awarded the Trinity College London (TCL) Scholarship.
Lizzie plays a W E Hill and Sons Violin made in 1890 and a Bridge Aquila 4-string electric violin.
