What are your basic technical requirements?

Performance space depends on band size, however, we will require at least two double sockets nearby and parking included.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

We're completely self contained bringing our own sound system.

What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know direction to the venue and correct places to load our equipment.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

More than happy to put a playlist on between sets or have the venue manage this.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

Soloist for the Last Night of the Proms with the Corps of Army Music in Twickenham with 2000 people in the audience. It was a fantastic gig and the energy was electric!

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

My biggest influences are Chet Baker, Julie London and Billie Holiday. Absolute classic jazz singers, full of feeling and able to tell a story through their craft.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I've done many gigs including weddings, charity functions, wakes, concerts etc all around the country.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

Restaurant or wedding breakfast gigs as background music while people enjoy their meals.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

If it's a wedding we would arrive 1-2 hours before to set up and sound check. Typically as a band we would perform 2 x 45 minute sets. As a soloist with PA, I would arrive around 1 hour before and perform a shorter set.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Happy to play outside but we require shade (or shelter if it's raining), a flat surface and a power supply.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I'm happy to look at specific requests and POA. Happy to curate a set list from a list of songs I know.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients often describe Lucy’s performances as relaxed, elegant, and emotionally engaging. Her chilled jazz and acoustic style creates a warm, intimate atmosphere, with a natural sense of storytelling that brings each song to life — perfect for setting the mood without overwhelming it.
