We honestly could not have chosen anyone more perfect than Luka to sing at our wedding. From start to finish, she was an absolute dream to work with. She was so professional, warm and effortless in the way she guided us through everything. Choosing songs and planning the sets felt incredibly simple in her hands, which was such a gift during the chaos of wedding planning.

She performed two evening sets for us with her guitarist, and together they created the most beautiful atmosphere. It was classy, romantic and completely magical. Our first dance to her singing was one of the most special moments of the entire day, and honestly some of my very favourite memories from the wedding are of dancing together later in the evening while she performed. It all felt a little bit unreal, like something out of a dream.

Luka has such a beautiful presence as well as an incredible voice, and she brought a real sense of elegance to the evening. So many of our guests commented afterwards on how wonderful she was and how much her music added to the whole atmosphere of the night.

She was also so lovely on a personal level - warm, personable and genuinely a joy to have as part of the day. On top of that, she very kindly sent us photos and videos afterwards, including a beautiful compilation, which meant so much to us. It was such a thoughtful thing to do, and we’ll treasure those memories forever.

If you are considering Luka for your wedding or event, I truly cannot recommend her highly enough. She made our evening feel unforgettable, and gave us some of the most magical memories we will keep for the rest of our lives.

We had the pleasure of hosting Luka here at The Hooting Owl Distillery for our owner’s birthday, and she was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely well organised in the lead up to the event, which made everything run smoothly. Her performance was amazing and created the perfect atmosphere, and the extra touch of bringing a birthday present was incredibly thoughtful. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Luka, was a very last minute inclusion as part of our ‘Speakeasy’ themed Xmas party night. She did not disappoint. I am so glad I booked her, and although not the main band for the night, her performance worked across a crowd of 200 people. Since the initial contact and all through the event, Luka was a delight to work with. Luka and her accompanist on a piano were great addition to our “Cheese, wine & jazz event” and created a lovely atmosphere at the start of the festive season.

Luka performed at my husband's recent birthday party and was a massive hit. She sang two sets of beautifully delivered songs and introduced each one with a lovely reflection on her choice and interpretation. She won the hearts of the whole audience, making them laugh and cry. Her voice is gorgeous and she looks stunning. The event was a pleasure to arrange, Luka is helpful, responsive, friendly and reliable. She happily adapted to playing an open-air space in our orchard and her set up and pack up was a breeze, whilst the sound quality was excellent. I cannot recommend Luka highly enough.

We were lucky enough to find Luka by chance, I was looking for someone that would provide songs and music as guests were arriving for one of our dining events at Selby Golf Club. Luka delivered the perfect welcome, singing a selection of soft jazz songs that blended perfectly into the evening. Throughout the performance, Luka kept us entertained and enthralled with her performance.

We were mesmerised by Luka’s videos when stumbling across her online. Her beauty and talent truly shone and we instantly knew she would be the best entertainment for our party. She had to perform for 80 guests during a seated dinner and totally surpassed any of our expectations. Our guests were blown away by her beautiful voice and elegance. Luka and her accompanist Rod were delightful to have with us. They arrived punctually, were very friendly and obliging, Luka looked wonderful in her own handmade dress. Her voice was deep and attractive and her song list of cool jazz extensive. Rod’s guitar accompaniment was fitting. The two created a party atmosphere at our sit-down marquee dinner. Their charm was infectious and guests gave them a big applause after their ten minute spot at a higher volume. Although they had been willing to invite people to dance at the end of the evening, this didn’t happen but they didn’t force the issue while people were deep in conversation.. My husband and I heartily recommend Luka Watabe for her pre-party administrative efficiency and her musicianship.

We booked Luka to perform at our Fifties Fete to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee at Whitchurch Silk Mill. She was a wonderful addition and really brought the vintage vibes to life with both her outfit and her sultry voice. She chose a perfect setlist for the theme of our event and her communications and organisation before hand was better than you could ask for. Thank you, Luka!

We booked Luka for an outdoor event, and received wonderful feedback from our guests. She was very professional in the planning, and on the day she was very well-organised. Our event went perfectly, and Luka was superb!

Luka was booked with very late notice to replace an artist and although she didn't have previous experience of the event was thorough with planning, flexible with our set up, incredibly easy to communicate with and a pleasure to welcome on to the team. With a small guide to the aesthetic of the event, Luka tailored her image to what we required and was absolutely perfect, presenting herself immaculately throughout. The song choice was discussed beforehand and she brought her own equipment which was ideal for our space. I have no hesitation in booking Luka again, and in fact, have done due to her attitude and talent. I look forward to working with her again when possible, she's a valuable asset to the success of events and adds glamour, a beautiful voice and is a team player.

I was nervous about booking a singer for my restaurant in Maidenhead for New Year’s Eve because there are so many options out there, but I wish I had never spent any time worrying. Luks was AMAIZING. She surpassed any possible expectation I had, and everyone at the restaurant loved her. Her set list was perfect, and she was genuinely nice and professional. Everyone was dancing which was just what we wanted to create a fun evening. Couldn't have asked for better and would strongly recommend her. Thank you so much.
