Lyra Strings played at our wedding ceremony, and she was absolutely incredible. She was more than happy to learn a few of our favorite songs that weren’t on her usual setlist, and her communication in the lead-up to the event was always warm, professional, and helpful.
On the day, she exceeded all our expectations—I lost count of the number of guests who complimented her performance! One of my most treasured moments was walking down the aisle while she played ‘Halo’ by Beyoncé. Now I just need another big occasion so I have an excuse to book her again! Lara is a rare type of individual who possesses extraordinary skills and abilities. We’ve worked on a few projects together - most recently the album project 80’s Symphonic, where I hired her as concertmaster. In my over 50 plus years in the business, you can imagine that I have seen countless individuals in this position. Lara brought such skill and confidence to implementing her duties that the entire string section accepted her as one of the family!

We’re so pleased we booked Lara last minute for our wedding day in Derbyshire! Her music was so good and really added depth and emotion to the background tracks, especially the entrance song as I walked down the aisle. Having her play in the background of the reception drinks was lovely too. Loads of our guests complimented her music and said how nice it was to have something different at a wedding!
