We hired Matt to keep our wedding guests entertained during a room change-around, and we could not have been happier with our choice! Matt is an extremely talented musician, and he had all the guests dancing and singing along with him. His varied repertoire meant that there was something for everyone, and we received lots of comments from our guests on how much they enjoyed his performance. I would definitely recommend booking him for your event, as he is a proven crowd-pleaser!

Matt is amazing at what he does. not only does his
talent shine but so does his patience, service and
friendly manner. He stuck with us when we had to
reschedule our wedding twice due to COVID, no
questions asked and no fuss. Open communication
always and on the day he was punctual and
pleased the crowd. He played off the cuff a song
that I requested that meant a lot to me for my dad
and I to dance to. Even though he doesn't play it
regularly you could hear a pin drop in the room he

Where to start. Matt was brilliant. He was super accommodating to all our needs; learning new songs for us and playing alongside family members who wanted to sing during the ceremony. We had some unexpected rain which shook things up the morning of the wedding but like a true professional, he adapted and even got our guests to see the funny side by playing “Ironic” during the welcome drinks. He was friendly, kind and put us at ease which often isn’t the case with wedding suppliers. Nothing was too much for him and he focused on what we wanted. He was very easy going which suited us perfectly. He’s incredibly talented, both on the guitar and vocally and plays a fantastic selection of songs which our guests loved. We couldn’t recommend Matt enough! You won’t be disappointed

Matt played at Wells Carnival recently in front of a crowd of approx 2500. Absolutely stunning. His talent, fantastic vocals, musical abilities and personality came across in bucket loads. A great set list got the crowd going.

I’ve been to a few of Matt’s gigs and knew how good he was so it was a case of hoping he would agree to play for us! Thankfully he did and he did not disappoint, as he has never done on the occasions I’ve seen him. Very easy to talk to and very well prepped beforehand as to ensure a smooth evening, essential for a wedding! Knows how to get the crowd going and lots of comments around how good he was that night from guests. When you attach the word wedding to things, prices balloon but for what Matt offers, he is sensational value!!! Matt is a genuinely lovely guy, who made our wedding day extra special. He not only played a wonderful rendition of our first dance song, but also managed to entertain the children with the Shark Song! He made everyone laugh and feel included, as well as playing and singing a great set with songs that people could either sing along to or get up and dance to. Even before the wedding, his communication was polite, responsive and thorough, making sure that we were happy with everything. 5 stars!

Booked Matt for my husband's 60th birthday party. He was amazing! Everyone commented on his great choice of songs, and just what a brilliant singer/musician he is. We had people off chairs singing and dancing along. We had the pleasure of Matt playing at our wedding. He learnt/performed songs that we requested to the highest standard. Everyone had such a great time and he has an amazing ability to create an atmosphere like no other. Everyone was dancing and having a truly great time. He played long into the evening and his energy never faded. We have also booked Matt for our annual summer garden party and we were the envy of the street. I would highly recommend Matt and his amazing talent. Get in quick as he books up fast. We tend to book a year in advance just to guarantee his availability.

Matt played at my wife's 40th. We hired Matt because he is not one of those "X factor wannabes". Matt's passion is the sound of the music, not how famous he might be able to get and this really comes out in his live performances. Matt has a great voice and natural rhythm. Both his acoustic guitar and loop sets were really good. He also dealt admirably with dozens of kids running around the place! It was nice to meet Matt. He's a nice bloke and he creates some great sounds. Would definitely recommend him for any kind of gig whether it be a pub, a private party or a bigger stage. Thanks Matt!

Matt played at our wedding back in August and was incredible. He set the perfect mood for everyone to celebrate and get to know one another. His song choices were perfect for our guests and he played into the wedding breakfast which meant we were able to enjoy him whilst dining. Matt was fantastic at our wedding this summer, playing live outside to our guests prior to the wedding breakfast. He played one song we requested and the rest we left up to Matt. His experience in choosing the songs to play to the audience at the right time is invaluable. Matt has all the right equipment, fully insured with PAT certificates which alot of venues ask for upfront and Matt was forthcoming with this info. Matt liaised with the venue manager to workout timings where to setup and took any stress out of the whole situation. Fantastic professional who has an amazing voice and puts his own twist on covers without departing too far from the original so you can have a sing along. Just brilliant. No hesitation bookings him again for any type of occasion

Matt was absolutely fantastic ! We wanted a great singer / guitarist for our outdoor tipi wedding ... we saw a clip of Matt on you tube and had to book him. Matt was really professional, approachable and friendly - making everything easy. We first met on our wedding day and he didn’t disappoint our guests at the drinks reception. I booked Matt for my partners surprise 40th Birthday Party. His performance was amazing and he really engaged with all the guests and made it such a prefect evening. Willing to play songs on request and adapt his performance to the schedule for the evening. Exclllent communication through the booking and planning process and arrived super early to set up and prepare. This was the best live performance I have ever had the pleasure seeing. A really great musician and all round nice guy. My partner was so happy and impressed with the whole performance. Will definitely be booking Matt again for our next big event.

Matt did an amazing job of a suprise prosposal, we was running late but matt was there ready well before we arrived, the song and his voice was amazing.. i reccomend matt to anybody who wants a smooth ride! From start to finish the booking process was the easiest thing i booked ever!! He also sent me a tester video of the song he was going to play!
