Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

One of my favourite gigs has to be Cloud X Festival, a UK festival dedicated to R&B. It was amazing to be surrounded by so many artists and music lovers who share the same passion for the genre, and the atmosphere was just unforgettable.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I’ve been most influenced by legendary vocalists such as Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse, Aaliyah, and Beyoncé. Artists known for their vocal power, authenticity, and ability to connect deeply with an audience.

The greatest song of all time... thats tough (it changes all the time!). But for now lets say Amy Winehouse Back to Black.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started gigging at the age of 12, performing at school talent shows and local open mic nights. Over the years, I’ve grown from those early stages to performing at festivals, MOBO-affiliated stages, weddings, private parties, and a wide range of high-profile events.

This journey has given me experience performing in intimate settings, large-scale venues, and everything in between, allowing me to adapt my style and set list to suit any audience or occasion.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I enjoy performing at events where my vocals can help set the perfect tone. Whether that’s creating an unforgettable first dance at a wedding, keeping energy high at a private party, or adding a touch of sophistication to a corporate or brand event. For me, it’s about reading the room and delivering a performance that enhances the atmosphere and leaves a lasting impression.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I typically arrive 30-45 mins prior to set up. I typically perform x2 45 min sets, but happy to play shorter or longer if needed.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, I'm happy to perform outside (as long as i'm not in the rain with my equiptment)

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Clients are always welcome to have a say in what I play. I have a set repertoire to choose from, but I’m happy to tailor my set lists to suit the event. If there’s a special song you’d like that’s not already in my repertoire, I can usually learn it with enough notice (ideally 1 month). This is also dependent on the function season, during a high demand period I may not have the capacity to learn new material. Please enquire.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous clients often describe my performances as having infectious energy, with a beautiful voice and strong stage presence
